on 15-day DL with Sore right shoulder

The Tigers placed Jones back on the 15-day disabled list because of a sore right shoulder on Sunday - two days after he returned from a stint on the DL. The move is retroactive to Saturday.

Jones missed the previous two weeks because of right shoulder inflammation, but was activated Friday for the Tigers' game versus Baltimore. The right-hander struggled in two innings of relief, giving up a season-high five runs - none of them earned - and three hits, while waking three. That workload left him unavailable for Saturday's game, but according to the Tigers' official Web site, there weren't immediate signs of any problems.
