Howard was 2-for-4 with a RBI and two runs in the Phillies' 5-4 win over the Braves on Tuesday.

Howard's multihit game was his first since May 1. The Phillies first baseman, who is batting .181 with seven homers and 20 RBIs in 40 games this season, is 6-for-21 (.286) with a home run and four RBIs during a five-game hitting streak.

Howard went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's 8-2 loss to the Giants.

Howard's homer was his seventh of the season, and first since May 1. He is batting just .169 in 38 games this season, and is only 4-for-33 (.121) with 13 strikeouts in his last nine games.
