Doumit left the Pirates' 10-4 loss at Milwaukee on Friday after the sixth inning due to flu-like symptoms. He is listed day-to-day.
Doumit, who is batting .330 with 13 homers and 49 RBIs this season, went 0-for-3 with an RBI-ground out on Friday. Still, the first baseman has gone 8-for-20 (.400) with two doubles, a homer and four RBIs over his last five games. He's also scored three times in that span.
