NTDL-Who will be the Madden 09 cover guy?

Sticking w/ the trend of "awesome rookie year" players on the cover like Vince Young, I think they'll go to a good, young, 2nd yr player for the cover. And, I can't see them going w/ someone like Patrick Willis just yet (usually the defensive cover guys are more established) so I think they'll go with Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings for the cover of madded 2009; he's such a hot name now after this season, they'll capitalize on that. Yea, I could definitely see that.

It won't be a big name player. The endorsement doesn't pay enough for the amount of appearances it requires. That is the reason LT turned it down last year. Since stars in this league come and go faster than any other league they will go after a young star that will cost them less. Look for AD or someone young like that.

Vince Young kinda beat the Madden curse.
Sure he didn't have a great season passing but he didn't end up with a severe season-ending injury.
