The Animal as he was called was the junior captain of the defense and led the team in tackles. He led the number 1 defense throughout the regular season. He led the Bucks to back to back national title games (even though they lost...bad) and was an animal all year on D. he will be a sure first round pick and will definetely skip his senior year and enter the draft. Boy the Browns could sure use him.

i think this has already been established. but i wont waste your td. id say hes a top 5 pick. wanna argue it?

i dont know if he is top 5 pick, he looked like he played on his heels during the national championship and obviously looked a step slow like the entire defense, even though i believe he led the team in tackles in that game. Ill do a throwdown if u want about that though

nevermind....

i agree you didn't act like a jerk like a lot of guys do but you accepted it for the challenge and looked to make it more challenging, thats cool

January 9, 2008  09:24 PM ET

No shot in hell... None of the teams in the top 5 have linebacker as a top 3 priority, IMO.

January 9, 2008  09:27 PM ET

easy on the comment about lauranitis looking a step slow. he had 18 tackles

January 9, 2008  09:42 PM ET

hmmm hes not a top 5 pick for sure

January 9, 2008  09:49 PM ET

He will go 7 if New England keeps the pick or if they trade it to Houston, who has been among the teams who are interested in acquiring the pick.

Yankee gets the vote. I don't know if he's really top 5, but this a stupid TD. Of course he's a first round pick.

January 10, 2008  02:35 AM ET

Agree with Captain. I think he will be a Patriot. They need youth there and he looks pretty good and fits their mold.

January 10, 2008  02:58 AM ET

Laurinaitis had 18 tackles. Gholston looked overmatched by Soph Tackle Ciron Black (#70) who was superb.

Scared say you scared

January 10, 2008  07:17 AM ET

bengals take him with #9 overall pick

January 10, 2008  07:44 AM ET

the browns trade anderson to get in the draft and grab him

January 10, 2008  07:50 AM ET

How does Yankee have all these votes? He said nothing, and agreed with the guy's TD.

January 10, 2008  01:46 PM ET

Laurinaitis, was good so was Freeman, the Line was dominated, but he would be a definite first rounder, I like the N.E. choice

January 12, 2008  11:22 PM ET

vote to yankee fan b/c its obvious he is going to be a 1st round pick and he tried to salvage the TD

January 12, 2008  11:41 PM ET

I think Rey Maualuga goes above of him if Maualuga declares. Maualuga reminds me of a young Junior Seau and I think the Patriots would select him. It's so hard to find those big Mike linebackers that can go sideline to sideline. Maualuga is big and fast. He's this year's David Harris.

January 13, 2008  12:03 AM ET

He will be the 7th pick, not in the top 5. No vote, though.
