Who is going to be on the cover of Madden '09?(I got this idea from Dawgee Fresh)

Adrian Peterson.He was the star player this year. He came in as a rookie and just played really good this year. HE has good stats but not big stats because he is a rookie. Hes better than some NFL players that have been playing for a couple years. He is going to be just as good next year even better.


Adrian just wont take it he knows about the Madden curse he dosnt want to screw up his futre just to make a couple million buck sthathill earn quadruple that much

How bout the honor Sean Taylor, and Darent Williams which would be a very nice tribute, would for shure break "the Curse", and would put 2 defensive players which havent been on at all ex ept for ray lewis


I know Sean Taylor is dead man but we need to get over him.I'm not being insensitive about it but seriously, adrian Peterson was the star player of the year.


actully we dont AD might be a rising star but he is smart i went 6 of thee vikngs home games this yea he is a very smart player he wont do somkthing like this

i agree with the comments that WE should also honor korey stringer, and pat tillmin as well think about it as this

also i wwould also say as a tribute in the game maybe make a mode where you make a team of just fallen players np active players

R.I.P, That is a great idea. A tribute to those 2 players would be a fantastic cover for the game. You definetly have my vote, and I don't see how you could lose this, because that is far and away the best cover idea.

LT already declined the cover Gu3.

And it won't be Taylor/Williams.

The fact remains that it's all for the money. That means who is the most well known- or who will bring in the cash among the young kids.

That player is Peterson.

I would bet that their families could care less about some unimportant cover. The best way to give tribute to those two athletes is to try to remember the people that they were and the amazing athletes that they were with so much potential.

No, little kids want to be like the players. I agree it would be a great remembrance, but when it comes down to it, people will buy the most famous and popular guys. AD really came onto the scene, and there are a few others too.

i agree about tribute to taylor and williams, but how about we put pat tillman on there too, i loved sean taylor, but alot has been done to honor and maybe we could still be honoring tillman who walked away from millions for his country

RIP Sean Taylor gets my vote. Not only would it be a great tribute to two great young football players, but it would also mean that EA was going to make it so you could play as a corner in the game. In Madden 08 you can't see the corners/WRs when the ball is snapped so their's no sense in using them.
