Is by FAR the best Super Bowl matchup of the remaining teams (not counting homers)

OK the only reason I entered this TD is because I feel compelled to argue today. (: haha. While I admit that it would be a great game, I would say the Chargers - Packers would be better. Both the Pats And the Pack are more of a Gun type of offense both having HOF worthy QB's. However, that would be a shoot out game. I would like to see a run oriented team like th chagers vs. a throwing team like the Packers. It would be the best ground game vs. the best throwing game. This in turn could make the game all the more interesting. Now granted LT went out this weeks game with an injury, but hopefully he can be back in.

you have America's Old QB vs America Stud young QB
Favre is the darling of the Media - and everyone in America knows his face- his joy of the game - witness the snowball he tossed at Driver in the snow. Plus Star in the Making AJ HAWK on the defense
We All know the pats- we all know Brady (and his baby moma) and we all know all those stories.
But we don;t know Moss - yet- he;s being a good boy this year- but there is something in there waiting to get out- and Super Bowl weekend it just might
but this boils down to Chargers vs Pats-
and if you think LDT is a bigger draw then 19-0 you have to be kidding- Scrub players from the 72 Dolphins making prank calls to Wes and Seau hoping to disrupt thier sleep patterns so they won;t play that well- old players trying to sneak snipers into the stadium to take out Brady.
THREE DOLLAR BILL, Y'ALL said 01/15, 07:28 AM
On the other hand you have LT, one of the baddest mofo's to strap on cleats. You would be able to see this if you would get a Vizio (: haha
As far as the Bigger draw, no LT isnt a bigger draw than 19-0 I will admit that honestly. But when I see a team play for a World Championship I want to see someone pound the ball downfield not just air it out. I dont believe the Patriots are as capable of this as say ...the chargers are. Not to mention the Pats arent exactly the greatest run defense in the league either.

Report Offensive CommentPackers and Pats would be a strong matchup. You have the team that everyone hates in the Patriots. (Spygate, envy from every fan because their team isnt' that good, the New England attitude) Vs. the City Owned, historic team that has Everybodys All American Brett Farve playing on his last legs. Good vs. Evil. I happen to dig Evil in this case, but I would love to see these two battle it out. Plus it's a Superbowl reach and we will get to hear John Madden and Chris Berman both gush over Brett for two weeks!! It will be a lovefest like none other! A lot more interesting then Chargers Vs. Packers. *Yawn*...Real big ratings grabber there!

When you say "Now" do you mean the last 35 years?

Report Offensive CommentI guess the pack will need to beat the patriots to get any real respect...USA TODAY: Packers resilient? The packers are a very good team with empasis on TEAM and the best the NFC has to offer. The packers could make the Patriots pay again after all these years. The gut feeling is that The Pats Will Not Win The Super Bowl! If the Pats make it that far...The Packers are the reason why they won't.

Report Offensive CommentI think, since the SB is based on hype, that a match-up which pits the NFL original Super Bowl dynasty vs. the latest is reason enough. Throw in the fact that the NFL gets all buttery when they get a chance to promote the old veteran looking for glory at the end of their career (a la Elway and Bettis), and I think The Pats/Pack matchup would be the most compelling.
Plus, what coach would we be able to pick on if we had to say, Norv Turner - Super Bowl Coach.

Report Offensive CommentJust by saying that Patriots vs. Packers would be a shootout and you would rather see something else losses this TD for you. Give the people what they want to see.

Report Offensive CommentIts going to be Pats/Packers. I think we all know that with as much certainty as is possible in the NFL. A superbowl shootout! Now that sounds like fun:)
