alright im a huge fan of Tom Brady but he should not be up there yet and brett is about the 5 best heres stats. joe montana stats Third round draft pick in 1979,Master of come-from-behind victories, led 49ers to four super bowl wins, Named Super Bowl MVP three times,Orchestrated 92-yard winning drive in closing seconds, Super Bowl XXIII,All-NFL three times, All-NFC five times. . . Missed entire 1991 season with injury,Selected to eight Pro Bowls,Career statistics: 3,409 completions, 40,551 yards, 273 TDs, 92.3 passer rating. it would have been nine pro bowls but like i sead missed 91 season ill ague about tom and brady in next agument

Wow you just completely copy&pasted that from http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/member.jsp?player_id=154
but you know i'll argue this with you anyway.

First I have Joe Montana to at #1 so why are you arguing about him

Second Brett farve has surpassed Dan Marino b/c he broke the all time TD passes and passing yardage and also has more super bowl rings than Dan Marino.

Third I took Tom Brady over John Elway fore 3 reasons 1.Super bowl victories 2 for Elway and 3 for Brady (most likely 4 after Feb. 3rd) 2.He holds the single season passing TD mark with 50. and 3.He led the best offense ever assembled in NFL history(statistical wise)

so i needed stats and i didnt copy and paist i typed it. now elway was first overall pick of 83 led denver to record 47 fourth quarter comebacks,NFL most valuable player, named all pro, second team all NFL three times all AFC four times elected to nine pro bowls,51,475 yards,300 TD,started five super bowls and MVP super bowl 33. now for dan marino.Miami's first round pick, 1983, .Most prolific passer in NFL history, career statistics 4,967 completions, 8,358 attempts for 61,361 yards, and 420 touchdowns,First player ever to pass for 5,000 yards in a season, threw then-record 48 TDs, 1984,Recorded thirteen 3,000-yard seasons,First or second team All-Pro eight times,All AFC six time and Selected to nine Pro Bowls.

well you didn't compareanybody on your list to mineso obviously there is no argument to it. Favre and Brady both have chance to add to their super bowl totals this season and 1 will. So this one is case closed.

Farve is better than Marino
and brady will pass all of Elway'srecordsandis currently better than him b/c of him leading the best offense ever

John Elway, Joe Montana and Brett Favre

ST21....Favre has basically done all of what you just said Elway and Marino did and broken all those records...all with less talent around him in the smallest market in the league...how does that not make him better??

No Peyton?

vote to indycolts - i love stats, but after all, isnt winning superbowls what really matters?

Favre
montana
Marino

Neither Favre nor Brady belongs.

My 3? Montana, Elway, Marino.

Why do I put those 3 above Favre?

First off, if I need a game winning drive I'd take Montana and Elway in an instant. Those 2 guys were incredible in the clutch.

As for Marino, he had in my estimation, less talent around him than Favre, and put up MUCH better numbers.

Favre, Montana and Marino..., I grew up watching these guys as a kid and have a tremendous respect for them. Montana made the Niners a championship team in the eighties..., he and Rice were the best 1-2 punch in history. Marino, while not wearing a ring, set records that until now hadn't been touched and Favre...? He's been breaking those records all year.

Band wagon votes get you everytime ST21. Can't win against the Pats wagon right now. Brady is God on this site and he is not even in the top 5 of QB's of all time.
