Lets face it, the Red Sox are absolutley amazining this year, mind you we are still waiting the return of Jon Lester. They are currently on pace to win around 110 games. I dont think thats too unreasonable.
CJBOSOX said 05/26, 11:43 AM
You have got to be kidding me. I am an avid redsox fan but I know they wont win 105 more games this year. It is hard enough to get to 100 never mind 105 (OR MORE). I would like nothing more to see them win that many games but there is just no way. You clearly havent takin in to consideration the length of the season. Sure we are on pace to do 110 but there is still more than 2/3rds of the season left. I dont think you have takin into account injuries either.

well i think that the sox will stay healthy all year and that they wont have to worry about injuries. Therefor I know they will win 100 or more.
CJBOSOX said 05/26, 11:46 AM
First off, Becket and Timlin have already had minor injuries, that showing that there will be injuries throughout the season. Second off, are you changing your argument now? First you said 105 or more now your saying 100 or more. Did you think I wouldnt pick up on that?
Rolling_Stoner said 05/26, 11:48 AM
Clearly you must be on some sort of drug or something. Because anyone can see that 100-110 wins this year is not out of reach for the Sox. They will win the rest of the series against the Yankees....which will amount to them piling up wins left and right!
CJBOSOX said 05/26, 11:50 AM
1.) I'm Not On a Drug
2.) Your still saying 100, not 105 like you originally stated.
3.) They will not win the rest of the series against the Yankees.
4.) Your Must Be on Some Sort of Drug.
5.) Red Sox will win 90-95 this year.

These Red Sox fans are getting alittle carried away now. 95, not 105.

Report Offensive CommentI have to vote for CJBOSOX because he has the better argument. But the Sox will most likely get 95 or more wins this season if they keep on playing like they have been, and it could get them 105, but its too early to know yet.

Report Offensive CommentWell no they havent had a cold spell yet - however JD Drew is playing as if he doesnt realize every game counts, Manny has been a bit slow this year coming out of the gate, Tek is aging faster and faster, Beckett is on the 15 day DL. I am a sox fan and would love to see them get 105 wins but honestly I would love to see them win the WS regardless if they win 105, 100, 95 or 90.

Report Offensive CommentWinning 105 games would be a very nice accomplishment, but it all goes for nothing if the team can't win a World Series, or, even more glaring, doesn't so much as win a pennant.
I'm sure anyone who was on that 2001 Mariner team would trade at least 20 of those regular season wins if it meant a trip to the World Seires.

Report Offensive CommentThe red sox have not played much of the al central yet . theyre stacked. They will not be sweeping or taking 2 out of 3 like they are now. And im sure the true yankees will come back to life, winning more and more games trying to make a run for the playoffs. Red sox= 94 wins
