SIFS Tourney 2 Round 4 - Top 5 MLB Stadiums to play in

List only in 1st argument

In Order

1. Fenway
2. Wrigley Field
3. Camden Yards
4. PNC Park
5. Yankee Stadium

Just missed : Citizens Bank Park, AT&T Park

1. Yankee Stadium
2. Fenway
3. Wrigley
4. Camden Yards
5. Minute Maid Park (Astros)

Fenway has to be #1, I mean there is a 37 foot wall, that is sweet. There is the Green Monster and Peksy's Pole. There is nothing really that special like feature-wise as of that of Fenway. The games always sell out and the corwd goes wild. It is great to play in. It has some great stories to tell.

You gotta have PNC park in your top 5. It is one of the nicest ballparks out there, I mean the view is great. Remember the All-Star game a few years ago, that was great. It is right across from Roberto Clemente's Bridge. Also there is the Allegheny River.

There isn't much to argue besides Fenway vs Yankee Stadium and PNC Park vs Minute Maid, so i will continue since they are the only two real arguments/disagreements here.

Fenway has all those great wall angles and stuff like that where as Yankee Stadium, there really is nothing like that. Ted Williams played there, Babe Ruth PITCHED there. Fisk with his wave. The Fans are great there, I went to a game there so i expirienced it all, it was Phenominal. It's the oldest ballpark. ATMOSPHERE

Now back to PNC vs Minute Maid. PNC has way more scenery and stuff to look at than Minute Maid. Minute Maid has a roof.

Well you have no argument.

Fenway has much better colors than Yankee Stadium does and in Fenway the players are closer to the crowd and i think that makes the game better where as in Yankee Stadium, you are farther away from the stands. Also the "Sweet Caroline" song between innings is great when i went there. Fenway brings more enjoyment to the players and fans.

Whould you rather play in a park with a huge green wall called the huge moster, a short right field homerun pole, and then the long triangle-shape center field wall or just some plain old park with no cool features and wall shapes. I'll take Fenway's cool features and wall angles and shapes. Imagine sitting on top of the Green Monster.

Now to PNC Park and Minute Maid Park.

The scenery is great at PNC Park, probably the best in the majors, it's great to look at. You have Roberto Clemente's Bridge and the river. The Park is sweet and has a great view. Minute Maid Park doesn't have all this stuff to look at.

Also, I would rather play outside all the time rather than playing indorrs under a retractable roof sometimes. That is a big downside to Minute Maid Park.

Good Luck Ed Reed, You're Up

I really shouldn't even have to argue this. Yankees stadium, even though i hate the yankees, should be # 1. no other amount of lengends in baseball history walked on a particular field as much as they walked into yankee stadium. this is the sole reason that i should win this throwdown, and that's all i gotta say about that...

Sorry Phillie, but Yankee is number 1, i dont need any arguments, in that field, you can get a hr that only goes about 300 ft.

This is a TD about which parks are the best to play in? As opposed to see a game in? Just out of curiosity: which of you has actually PLAYED a game in any of these stadiums? I'm going to venture a guess: zero.

**** is next? Which planet's surface is more pleasing to the touch?

I actually have to agree with Paris Hilton ^ on this.

Never thought I'd say that. One of the worst TDs I've seen. hiya should have a re-do...

Report Offensive Comment

The guys argued it... and 24 people still voted even though the topic was "stupid."

It's too late for a re-do.
