The Miami Dolphins will select Virginia's Defensive end Chris long with the #1 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.

There is no way the Dolphins will take Chris Long as the first pick in the 2008 draft. If the Dolphins doesn't trade down... then it should be a no brainer to go with one of the best college lineman i think of all-time Glen Dorsey. Dorsey had a hurt ankle the whole year and it still took 2-3 offensive lineman to block him...
Glen Dorsey really impressed me in the National Championship game when MY BUCKEYES were putting 3 guys on him and HE STILL finds a way to get the tackle. Don't get me wrong, Chris Long is a big, fast, and strong Defensive End that can make play after play, but there is NO WAY you can take Long over a guy who won the Lombardi, Outland, and Lott Award. Drosey will be a rising superstar in the NFL with his 6-2 316 pound frame.
What Chris Long can't do that Dorsey can do is getting off a cut block. Thats all the NFL lineman do is cut block, and during the Georgia Tech game... he was having trouble the whole game trying to get off and the sad thing was that he didn't make a real good play all game! Hopefully Long becomes as good as his dad was in the NFL, but there is no way someone can pass up on a player like Glen Dorsey

Dude Cassidy's House was supposed to accept. It's part of the tournament. I messed up and forgot to actually challenge her.

Report Offensive CommentIt won't be Dorsey. He doesn't fit the 3-4 scheme of Parcells. If they can't trade the pick which I don't think they will be able to, they will go with Long. He played the 3-4 at Virgina getting something like 14 sacks last year. That is very good for a DE in that system. He is also very good against the run.
