Willingham had a decent recruiting class, but failed to land the 4-5 star recruits, they all jumped aboard based on said coach's persona. Weiss isn't the answer, until he devolopes a run n shoot offense. Weiss's recruits want playing time, and a 5 wide set (anti- Lou Hotz) could do just that! So explain to me why Irish fans should be discouraged?

You already made your comment, "altar boys" really? You just upset alot of the Irish United. Nonetheless, you made your comment, now to defend the Irish United (whether you care or not, alter boy!) Reasons to look ahead; Rivals.com #2 recruiting class, Dayne Crist (pretty close to Christ huh?) #2 Qb, Michael Floyd (#6WR), and Kyle Rudolph (#1 TE). So THE TRUTH, may have some interesting comments, not so good on the head to head. I'm really confused. You're saying that Weiss is doing a good job but he would never win without establishing a run and shoot offense. That doesn't really make any sense.

Report Offensive CommentIrish have a long way to go. Even with a young team if there recruits were so good than they should have at least been able to compete last year. If they are bad again this year I than i think the end of the Weis era will be near the end.
