High School: She was the first player...male or female...to be named a high school all american every single year, from freshman to senior, averaged 33 and 15 a game, and once scored 105 points in a game.

USC: 3 time college player of the year, scored over 3,000 points, led her team to two NCAA championships, winning MVP of touney in BOTH, has USC records that still stand today in points, rebounds, FG's, free throws, and steals. In 1986, she was named the best college basketball player in the nation by Sports Illustrated male or female, and she was so good, she got her USC number retired before she even left USC.

Olympics:Led U.S. team to gold medal at 1984 Summer Olympics

Pro: She was drafted by SEVERAL proffesional leagues, including the USBL, a men's league, but she was forced to retire due to knee problems.

She IS NO DOUBT the greatest women's basketball player of all time.

What's wrong with women's basketball. It's guys just a little slower paced (not much) no dunking but more 3-point shooting. It's more guard-oriented.

nothings wrong with womens basketball, if you like to spend time on your day off to watch "a little slower paced no dunking" basketball game..

Just go to a neighborhood pickup game, and im sure itll be more fun to watch..

Last five years I've watched the Seattle Storm play more than the Sonics! The way the Sonics have played the Storm would kill them in a head to head matchup!
