the columbus blue jackets .. are u for real! they don't have the defense to make the playoffs. Also, the think that the capitals will beat out the hurricanes for one reason and one reason only. Alexander Ovechkin.. i think that he wil lead his team ot the playoffs and score up to 70 goals.


Ok great the Caps have Ovechkin but the Hurricanes are deeper with guys like staal, cole, and vets like brindamour, glen wesley .Not to mention they have a better goaltender in Cam Ward. By your logic WAS has Ovechkin to theyre to team to beat, but what about ATL with Hossa and Kovlachuck.

CBJ is good enough to land the 8th seed with guys like foote, nash, malhotra, and chimera. Theyre good enough to get that last spot. Theyll lose in the 1st round tho.

VAN is a very thin team. Sure they have Luongo, Sedins, Naslund but thats it really. Theyll get close but CBJ can beat them out

The Avalanche will not win thier divison bc Calgary is deeper and better than them and Kiprusoff is one of the best goalies out there


washington is playing well, and have the goal scoring with clark, semin and backstrom to beat out Carolina. Also, they are in the lead by 1 point with a game in hand. Malhotra and Chimera aren't that good and foot is old. Canucks also have cooke, kesler, jaffrey, raymond, pyatt and morrison for secondery scoring. And the Avalanche will win there division as there winning without Smyth and Sakic, and won without them and stastny. Also, Theodore is arguably the best goalie in the league rite now


Carolina still has the best goaltender in that divison in Ward, and have great goaltending is like having great pitching, dont best against it. I mean the NJ Devis did win 3 CUps didnt they, dont think NJ would have won even 1 w/o brodeur.

And font tell me a player is old then talk about Sakic and Smyth, last I checked those 2 were past thier prime a bit.

And no way is theodore the best goalie in the league in ANY arguement. Osgood, Broduer, nabokov, Luongo, are all better than Theodore.

Arguably, you don't watch much NHL.

While I see the 'nucks slipping in instead of Columbus my vote goes to Fightins for the better argumento's.
