rule: must be a team in 3rd place or lower in their division.
No arguing in the first round. JUst team
Reds

The Reds are in a much weaker division than the Braves and have a better chance at suprising everyone and winning it.
The Mets and Phillies will be slugging it out for the NL East and many people are labeling the Mets as the best team in baseball. It is hard to win the division or be a wildcard when you have the best team in baseball in your division.
The Phillies made the playoffs last year and have great young hitting and pretty good young pitching. They have the MVP Jimmy Rollins and Ryan Howard who had 58 homers back in 06. Chase Utley is also the best second baseman in the MLB.
The NL Central has 2 weak NL teams at the top of it. The Brewers who are all hitting and NO picthing or bullpen and the streaky Cubs who can never put anything together.
The Reds have good young hitting and just the right veterans to lead their young hitting like Adam Dunn and Ken Griffey Jr. They have a good bullpen and signed a great closer in Cordero. THey have a cy young cantidate and underrated pitcher Aaron Harrang.

Yes but the braves would have made the playoffs but they got texiera to late but they lost Andrew Jones so it should be close

You don't really know if they would have made the playoffs. They would've had a better chance, but just because they made some key trades doesn't mean they would have won.
Losing Andruw Jones isn't exactly a good thing. He had a bad season, but he is stillo great defensively and could return to his old homerun hitting helf.

umm the brewers have pitching. Ben Sheets, Yovani Gallardo, Carlos Villanueva, Jeff Suppan...much better than the reds. Bullpen is still suspect but could be good.
