Denver will win the AFC West.

Denver is ready to win the conference this year. They added great new players (Dre Bly, Daniel Graham, Sam Adams, Travis Henry). Look, I know they lost Al Wilson but thats okay. They still have decent linebackers and have a great secondary. San Diego on the other hand, lost their linebackers, a few tight ends and some WR while gaining nobody. Denver will have a much improved run defense and will be able to get to the QB. Travis Henry is a great fit in the Denver offense and will be able to rush for 1,000 yards. The WR core is very good with Javon Walker, Rod Smith, Brandon Stokely, and Brandon Marshall. They have very good tight ends also with Graham, Alexander and Scheffler. They always have a fairly good offense line that will protect Cutler who will be much improved. On D, they have a way better defensive line and decent linebackers. Top that off with a great secondary, and you have the AFC West Champions!


Sorry, but though I am greatly in love with Denver, I have to say the Chargers will win the division. With Rivers coming off a blowout year they will beat everyone in the conference. LT is a monster, nobody can stop him. And Antonio Gates is Argueably the best TE in the NFL right now. Plus add a pair of decent CB and a great linebacker core. Right now the Chargers have the edge.


Well i agree with you that San Diego will be good but who did they add this year? Nobody. Denver added lots of talent that will make their team considerablely better. San Diego still doesn't have as good of an defense as Denver and this will make it hard for them to win games. San Diego has a better offense but i don't think denvers is that far behind. San Diego also has a bit harder of a schedule. Denver will have a great D and offense that will allow them to win lots of games.


but you forgot the most important weakness of the Broncos: Arrowhead Stadium. they will most definitely lose their, unlike the Chargers, Broncos won't be skilled enough to win the division. also they picked up Craig Davis, a good Reciever


San Diego also lost its head coach and some of its coaching staff. That is huge. This will change how they play since the coach will have a new system and could be a terrible coach too. It's extremely hard for a team to win after just changing head coaches since everyone will be getting used to the system. Rivers is young so he will probably have a tough time learning it also. They play at Arrowhead once so I don't know how thats a huge weakness.


no, the same Offensive and Defensive schemes will be used. If the Broncos lose to the Chiefs, I don't think they can come back because San Diego won't lose a game in the division.

yea san diego might not have added anyone but they didnt lose anyone of importance besides edwards but he has been replaced by phillips they have merriman who wont get suspended 4 games like last year and the return of their stellar offense now i think the division will be closer but the chargers will still win it...even with the new coaching change

how can u say it will kill them they are using the same schemes and offense....with their talent how can it kill them in the playoffs it could effect them but i mean this coaching change is the only thing have against the chargers

The Bolts were 3rd in the AFC in Total Offense compared to the Donkeys being 10th. The Bolts were 1st in scoring, 30.8pts a game vs the Donkeys being 10th again w. 19.9 pts a game. Just exactly how are the Donkeys better on offense than the Bolts!?!

Apparently you have forgotten that the Bolts swept the Broncos last season, the second game in SD was a BLOWOUT, 48-20. The Bolts 'lost' D.Edwards but replaced him w. a third year LB who was waiting in the wings. The Bolts didn't need to add Free Agents because AJ Smith (GM) is very good at building this team thru the draft.

I just don't get how you can discount the Bolts so easily. I guess I'll chalk it up to being a Homer.

Big Ben68: May I remind you that Cam Cameron was the "Genius" who decided to stop running LT vs the Patriots in the 2nd half of the playoff game. LT was running all over the Pats D yet Cam felt it wise to abandon the runing game. Not smart. Obviously you didn't see enough Chargers games to truly appreciate how often Cam made poor play calls. That or you just don't get football...hence your allegiance to the Skins.

ps- LT, a player everyone will no doubt say knows the game, was STOKED to hear Norv was going to be the Head Coach of the Bolts. He did, after all, install the offense that is used today, tomorrow and next season. Enough about the change in coaches...both the O and D schemes are exactly the same as last year.
