My Team:

G- Gilbert Arenas

G- Michael Redd

F- Carlos Boozer

F- Bobby Dandridge

C- Bill Lambier

Your turn.

g: Agent Zero
g: Manu Ginobili
f: Boozer
f: Dennis Rodman
c: Bill Lambier

I thought you would pick Manu. Let's have a statistical breakdown between him and Michael:

PPG: Michael- 20.4
Manu- 14.3

RPG: Michael- 4.2
Manu- 4.0

APG: Michael- 2.2
Manu- 3.5

FG%: Michael- 45.0
Manu- 45.2

FT%: Michael- 85.0
Manu- 80.7

3PT%: Michael- 39.0
Manu- 37.9

TOPG: Michael- 1.6
Manu- 2.1

SPG: Michael- 1.0
Manu- 1.6

BPG: Michael- 0.1
Manu- 0.3

I win in 6 out those 9. So I think I win.

Now, Rodman vs. Dandridge.

PPG: Bobby- 18.5
Dennis- 7.3

RPG: Bobby- 6.8
Dennis- 13.1

APG: Bobby- 3.4
Dennis- 1.8

FG%: Bobby- 48.4
Dennis-52.1

FT%: Bobby- 78.0
Dennis- 58.4

3PT%: Bobby- 16.7
Dennis- 23.1

TOPG: Bobby- 2.7
Dennis- 1.6

SPG: Bobby- 1.3
Dennis- 0.6

BPG: Bobby- 0.60
Dennis- 0.58

So, out of those 9, I win 6.

So, I won both the differences statistically.

That's why I think I win overall.

Thanks for making some differences.

Your turn.

By the way, this is the Big Baby tournament.

Rodman and Ginobili were valuable to championship teams. Remember the fact that Manu has had shooters around him that he has had to distribut to. Duncan and Parker. He still scored double digits. Rodman had Pippen and Jordan round him. Jordan and pippen took a signifiacant amount of points away from rodman. rodamn and ginobili have been more valuable to championship teams and imagine if they were on teams like dandrige's and redd's? They would have had signifaicantly better stats than them because Redd does not have any around him except for Mo Williams. Manu has similar stats on a team that has more scoring options. Championships are a factor.

Let's see. They wouldn't have better field goal percentages, free throw percnetages, or three point percnetages. Most of which my men won.

They wouldn't have more rebounds, because Rodman basically couldn't and Manu never rebounds.

They would have less assists, bacause they wouldn't have teammates who could finish. If you're in Redd's case.

They wouldn't have many more blocks or steals.

Basically all they would have inproved would be points, and I still would be leading in 5 of 9 categories.

Anyway, if they were on Dandridges, basically none of their stats would be improved. Becuase Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, the All-time leader in points, was a teammate of his. Their scoring stats would probably decrease, if anyhting.

Your turn.

"They wouldn't have more rebounds, because Rodman basically couldn't and Manu never rebounds."

Rodman was a undersized power forward who was one of the greatest rebounders of all time. WHo says that Manu can't rebound? Rodman was a great, great rebounder. It was unknowledgable to say rodman was not good at rebounding.

I don't think that Redd has done anything to help his team win absolutely win anything? Nobody really know who Dandridge is. Everyone knows who Manu and Rodman is because they have both done things that were significant in the league.

How do u know that they would have better field goal percentages, free throw percentages, or three point percentages? They would have been potent scoring optoins. Or at least Manu would be. I don't think there is any argument that Manu is better than Redd and Rodman is better than Dandrige.

I like Drainers team but Ill wait for arguments

February 13, 2008  11:12 AM ET

Rodman was never a coveted scorer

February 13, 2008  11:13 AM ET

He is one of the best rebounder's in history.

February 13, 2008  11:47 AM ET

I meant he couldn't rebound any more than he did! Gosh!

February 13, 2008  11:50 AM ET

the 3 that rodman beat danbridge out on were

FG%
3PT%
Rebounds

as agrippa said rodman was never about scoring but the fact that hes a better percentage shooter gives the edge to drainer on that comparison

also Manu is much more of a 3rd option than M.Redd therefore
