Sorry, no linemen this time around. Follow my format.
As usual, players first, arguments second and third.

WR- Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos)
WR- Chris Chambers (Sandy A Go ****)
WR- Dwayne Bowe (Kansas City Chiefs)
TE- Antonio Gates (Kent State University)

DE- Jared Allen (Kansas City Chiefs)
DT- Gerard Warren (Oakland Raiders)
DE- Elvis Dumervil (Denver Broncos)
OLB- Donnie Edwards (Kansas City Chiefs)
ILB- D.J. Williams (Denver Broncos)
ILB- Kirk Morrison (Oakland Raiders)
OLB- Thomas Howard (Oakland Raiders)
CB- Antonio Cromartie (San Diego Chargers)
CB- Dre' Bly (Denver Broncos)
FS- Marlon McCree (San Diego Chargers)
SS- Bernard Pollard (Kansas City Chiefs)

K- Jason Elam (Denver Broncos)
P- Mike Scifres (San Diego Chargers)

Punt/Kick Returner- Darren Sproles (San Diego Chargers)

I agree with most of it,

at FS John Lynch is better than McCree

in the last four games of this season Lynch had nine more tackles than McCree

I also disagree with with ur CB's

how can u not put the 7th pick of the 99 draft, who has 42 pics of his career, when dre bly and cromartie have only 48 combined.

Also i disagree with ur qbs

but i am wondering how u did not put the man on ur default picture and ur name on their????

As much as I have a man crush on John Lynch(JK), I know he can leave it all on the field, it's just that there's a question there if he can preform like the young players like McCree and there's a bigger question, if he can stay healthy which he didn't do this year. McCree had a better year than Lynch this year.

As for Champ Bailey not being on my list, he, like Lynch, didn't preform as well as Cromartie or Bly this year. Also like Lynch, he was banged up most of the year, so he couldn't play to the nest of his ability.

I also have no freaking clue how you can't put Jay Cutler as your QB. You'd rather put Rivers/Croyle/whoever is in Oakland now over Cutler after his season went this year? If you didn't know, he was fifth in the league in QB rating, while Rivers was eleventh. But I guess you have a point as Rivers did beat Cutler in TD's, wins, and tears shed.

My list as whole was picked out of how well the players did this year, not in their overall careers.

in my opinion champ bailey and john lynch are still some of the best defensive players in the league they would probably have to be in my top 10 defense mens of the year. When rivers and Cutler collide in an NFL playoff game rivers who has more experience will show who is better.

HA! That last statement makes me laugh. Yea Rivers definitely has more experience, but Rivers hasn't been the reason for the Chargers making or winning in the playoffs. He's lucky he's got the best players at their respective positions around Rivers (LDT and Antonio Gates), so that he doesn't look his crappy self. Cutler has better receivers than Rivers, but he doesn't have the greatest TE's, and while his RB's are good, they switch starters very time Travis Henry has another baby for crying out loud. The Chargers line are also younger than the Broncos O-Line and can move better than their line. The Broncos O-Line is so old, they have a couple players that went to Super Bowl 33 when Elway was still around.

Your first statement, I totally gat. I could've went my way and went with how they performed this year, or I could've gone with your way and chosen the proven talent that didn't do as well as expected of them this year. I could've chosen Bailey and Lynch, I just didn't because they we're hurt, playing hurt and didn't live up to expectations, this year at least.

Those two are always in or are talked about the probowl and they always give consistent numbers every year.

The broncos have a better defense than the chargers so that means Cutler doesnt have to do as much, San Diego gives up big plays ever since "Lights Out" has gotten caught for steriods. Rivers plays a bigger role in the franchise than Cutler will ever.

Hmmm... I see someone who despises Michigan Fans, should I despise a Broncos Fan? (LYNCH)

detfan, you should go easy on Broncos fans, they are the best of fans. JK.

February 17, 2008  11:22 PM ET

Lynch, Bailey is better than Bly, people just don't throw to Bailey that doesn't make him a lesser DB.

I will go easy on them, but Buckeye Fans I shall not...

February 17, 2008  11:25 PM ET

B, ino Bailey is better. Criticize me all you want, but I just went Bly's way because of stats this time.

February 17, 2008  11:28 PM ET

so this is going off last year alone?

February 17, 2008  11:29 PM ET

i do think bailey should be on there no matter what. no one trys him anymore.

February 17, 2008  11:29 PM ET

Whoa, 3 Broncos Fans and a Lions Fan...

Should I bring up the 2007 Lions vs. Broncos game, or will you 3 jump me?

February 17, 2008  11:29 PM ET

Stats alone cutler is better than rivers. And Rivers also has a better run game..

February 17, 2008  11:29 PM ET

Gotta have Bailey on here, but I'll wait till the end to vote.

February 17, 2008  11:32 PM ET

Unless you mean the Bowl Games, then no...

February 17, 2008  11:34 PM ET

i would say derrick johnson and shawn Merriman are better fits at LB over Thomas Howard

February 17, 2008  11:35 PM ET

Ok, ok, I'll admit leaving Bailey off there was a mistake. Its just, uno, I'm just lettin off a little steam because he could've done so much better had he not gotten hurt, and play dinged up like the rest of the defense.

Meat Chicken woulda got the **** kicked outta them even worse than OSU. OSU would've made the game against the Gators this year less of a close game than what the Gays and Blow had with them.

February 17, 2008  11:38 PM ET

sorry, but I had to go there.

Meat Chicken?
Close Game?
Gays and Blows?

I don't even understand what you are saying...

"Rivers plays a bigger role in the franchise than Cutler will ever."

I think you just commited suicide right there. If you were to swop Cutler and Rivers, Rivers would be where Grossman is right now. Cutler IS the franchise for the Broncos. All Broncos QB's go under the scrutiny of being the QB after the Elway era. Every QB that comes into Denver will always have to be one of their biggest franchise players because of Elway. Not fair, but understandable.

For you to say that quote right there is beyond belief. That is probably THE stupidest comment I have ever seen. Without Cutler, the Broncos are not even near .500. Without Rivers the Chargers are where they are right now. Rivers is not an elite QB, which he should be right now in his career. Cutler is still growing more than Rivers is, but Cutler still is a better QB and still more valuable to his team than Rivers.
