The Spurs should walk over the cavs. First of all lebron is going to be guarded by one of the best defenders in the league. And the cavs will not be able to stop Tony Parker with second year player Daniel Gibson or Sasha Pavlovic who's first start was this year. Almost no one in the league can handle Duncan and certianley Zydrunas Illgauskas or Drew Gooden will be able too.

Even with lebron being guarded the rest of the team stepped up. Did you see the last game? The Cavs are looking pretty impressive so far.
flavaflave011 said 06/09, 04:25 PM
did u see the spurs shut down lebron like he was a benchwarmer? the spurs are way more dominating.
Go IU said 06/10, 04:03 PM
u can't tell that much from a first game. This is cleveland's first championship series. of course they're going to be nervous.
flavaflave011 said 06/15, 08:57 PM
they just won so this throwdown is over. i proved my point.
Go IU said 06/15, 11:17 PM
What was the point of the prediction if you were just going to wait it out. i chose this throwdown because i thought we were actually going to prove good points on why each team had their shot. you just wasted a perfectly good throwdown

Report Offensive CommentWasnt Prince supposed to shut down james too??? I think so and we all see how that turned out huh! There is not one player in the NBA that can shut James down for an entire series!

Report Offensive CommentIm not voting, flavaflave is wrong by saying that the Spurs will walk all over the Cavs. It wont be easy. Everybody thought the Pistons would walk all over the Cavs, they didnt. I'll wait to see what ALee says, even though he is probably going to say the Cavs will win, which is wrong.

Report Offensive CommentIs AdamLee really going to take this throwdown?
A throwdown topic like this could give him his first loss...

Report Offensive CommentI'm expecting this series to be one of the more memorable one's in history. The Spurs, the team everybody loves to hate during this years playoffs. The Cavs, the underrated, underdog, who are led by the Lebron James, the NBA's equilavent of Peyton Manning. The guy who has all the talent, all the hype, and is yet to produce. (Manning before SB vicory)
I dont see any games being a blowout, maybe 1, but it will be exciting to watch. Spurs in 7, but it will be better for the NBA if the Cavs win.
One more thing, if James wins a ring this year, SI and everybody else in the media will start the buzz of James being the next Jordan and possibly better crap. He wont be another Jordan, no one will. He wont get the records, awards, credentials, etc that Jordan had. He wont get the amount of rings MJ had. He wont be the next Jordan, he will be LEBRON JAMES. A seperate class of greatness.
