And all i have to say is how? they havent sone much to pro sports? . . . all they do is provide us with televised events and Sports Center . . . and many people like that so you have no reasont to say that they are becasue without them we wouldnt have ANY sports on T.V.
Go IU said 06/07, 11:16 PM
i didn't mean the televised events, i meant the other stufff. the media takes the littlest things and blows them up into something huge making fans either hate the players or gets the fans angry at the players
Sullyvan233 said 06/07, 11:20 PM
they dont do that some of the player put that stuff on themselves by doing that stupid stuff . . . but yeah they can be like that but they provide us with many good televised events and when you say media that means all media sorry . . . but thats how it goes
Go IU said 06/07, 11:23 PM
arite then, however if the players want to do stupid stuff, then they have a right to privacy without having all of the media taking that one stupid thing and blowing up to something huge. athletes are only human, they will do stupid things
Sullyvan233 said 06/07, 11:26 PM
well yeah thats true but they are famous and they should know if they are famous they are going to be watched by everyone and they have to know that . . . so they need to be idols not do stupid stuff . . .

Report Offensive CommentOnly with players like T.O. and some of the small things like missing OTAs in the NFL. They are voluntary workouts and yet you seemingly HAVE to be there.

Report Offensive Commentlet's face it...Sports fans have a huge appetite for sports...you're faulting somone who gives you what you want. If you don't agree, sign off this site and don't come back. Personally, I like it...otherwise I'm stuck with reruns of stupid shows and no news about my favorite team. I enjoy the insight that the sports media provides...ESPN is the best thing to happen ever.

Report Offensive Commentthere is a big difference between tabloids and media. Media is a blanket term that covers everything reported, be it games, training camp, or player movement. A better argument would have been "the paparazzi are ruining professional sports figures lives", or "Sports figures deserve privacy"
