Differences are,Magic Cavs,76ers Bulls,Spurs Rockets,Rockets Mavs,Mavs Spurs, and Warriors Nuggets. Made a mistake meant to put Nets instead of Wizards. The reason the Cavs will go higher than the Magic are because of this recent trade. The trade helps the Cavs out on D with Ben,gives them a point guard in West,gives them a good shooter in Wally and a veteran in Smith. Most importantly, this trade made James happy. The Bulls will get that 8th spot because they have more talent than the 76ers. Plus the 76ers have a 4-8 division record compared to Chicago's 5-2 division record. Can't afford to lose those games for record purposes and for potential tie breakers.Spurs will get the 5th spot because they are an extremly solid team. Plus they have Ducan and Ginobili. They also have Parker back now. So that is going to help their offense.The Rockets will get the 6th spot because they are a very good team with some star power thanks to McGrady and Yao. But you can't asume they'll overtake the Spurs. Mavs will only get the 7th spot because they're weak at center. Warriors will get the 8th spot because they have play around the same amount of deffense as Denver but out score them by 3 points.


Your Nets-Wizards thing is senseless, considering the Wizards appear nowhere on your list. Though it is true the Spurs are 'extremely solid' the Rockets have been playing absolutely dynamic, excellent ball of late. Though they are being overshadowed by trades, and the fact that they play in what may be the best division in all sports right now, the Southwest. They have won eleven in a row, defeating the likes of N'Orleans and Golden State down that stretch.

The Nuggets will sneak in simply because they are in an easier division than the Warriors. The two best teams not from Denver in the Northwest have combined for 65 wins. The two best teams in Golden State's division are combined for 76 wins. Also, while the Nuggets beats up on Minnesota and Seattle -who combine for 26 wins- the Warriors must play the Clippers and the Kings, who , though not very good, have combined for 45 wins. The Kings alone have more wins than the worst two teams in Denver's division.
