Okay our differences are I have UCLA and Kansas as two of my one seeds and you have Texas and Memphis.
Okay I'll take UCLA to be a one seed, they are a highly ranked team plaing in possibly the nations best conference. With Collison,Mbah a moute,Love, and the outstanding athleticism and depth of UCLA,I can see the Bruins reclaiming the #1 spot they had at the beggening of the year.
And Kansas though being beat by texas has experienced players who have tournament experience and can finish the season on a hot streak, which how a team finishes is a major factor in their place in the tourney.Texas couldn't finish as good down the stretch with the young guys having to carry the load with so much pressure on them while Kansas should be able to bear it.
Calipari stressed to his players that it was a privalege to be undefeated, and with them losing they won't play as hard. They could lose to a team to the likes of UTEP,Houston,or UAB.

how can u not have memphis as a number 1 seed. just because they lost 1 game against tennessee doesnt meen they are not a number 1 seed!!!
antways are differences as u said kansas and ucla and mine are memphis and texas
UCLA has lost 3 games to TEXAS,USC,AND WASHINGTON. wich only one of those three teams is ranked in the top 25. texas
kansas lost three games to KANSAS STATE,TEXAS, OKLAHOMA STATE.which 2 are in the top 25. texas and K STATE
while memphis has lost 1 tennesse!!!!!
and texas lost 4 to michigan state, wisconsin, misso and tamu which 3 of 4 are in the TOP 25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TEXAS AND MEMPHIS HAVE THE BETTER ALL AROUND TEAM!!!

Yes in my mind Memphis is a top team.Just now I would have them as the top #2 seed.I would have Kansas, and UCLA as my #1 seeds.
Yes UCLA lost to Texas, but Texas is not a team that is #1 seed type.Texas is too young, while veteran experience and how a team finishes down the stretch does a lot to where a team is seeded. And Texas lost to the same team OK state that Kansas did.Every team has let down games,as you can see considering no one has had an undefeated season since 1976.
And you seriously need to work on your grammer and typing skills.Enough with the exclamations.

I'm not really sure who to take with that last pick. However, if Kansas and North Carolina both lose their conference tournaments and Duke goes undefeated the rest of the season, I see the Blue Devils moving in as the last #1 seed.

Report Offensive CommentAnd how do you not have Memphis? They are a must-have at 26-1 with their only loss coming to the #2 team in the country. That's the thing. THEY LOST ONE GAME! Yet, all of a sudden, everyone is saying they won't even be a number one seed? Ridiculous. They are still 26-1 and one of the four best teams in the country. Read my new blog on the Memphis/Tennessee game if you'd like to hear more of my thoughts.
G.O.A.T. | 02/24/08, 06:40 PM
Report Offensive CommentMemphis and Tennessee are musts at this point. UCLA should be a number one as well. I would probably take UNC last over Kansas or Texas.
Basketball Jesus: CHAMPION! | 02/24/08, 07:37 PM
Report Offensive CommentI really don't think they will be the number one seed G.O.A.T.I think they will be the first #2 seed. And they did lose at home,
(Cincy) Eddie Vedder | 02/24/08, 07:56 PM
Report Offensive CommentThey lost at home....to the #2 (soon to be #1) team in the country!!!! That's the only blemish they have on their record!!!
Basketball Jesus: CHAMPION! | 02/24/08, 10:33 PM
Report Offensive CommentBut Basketball Jesus I'm just saying these are teams that would be one seeds. It is a weird process,a little different than rankings.
(Cincy) Eddie Vedder | 02/24/08, 11:06 PM
Report Offensive CommentThey lost at home for the first time in 40-some games! They lost to the #2 team in the country! They lost to their fierce rival! This should not warrant their dropping from a #1 to a #2 seed.
