Problem, Ghost, Phantom... said 02/25, 08:25 PM
I think it was a bad trade! now dont get me wrong he is one of the best players ever but he is old and tired he just needs to retire. when 5 min into the game he is too tired to dunk the ball so he misses a layup he should be done. Shaq does not fit in with the suns and i dont buy that with time he will because he wont hes been in the NBA for 15 years and has allways played the same style and that wont change in a week or two.

hmmm. a kobe fan who doesnt like shaq. anyway. this was a great trade. he will take the double teams of amare. amare can now dominate the paint. plus the playoffs arent a fast break type game. the playoffs are a halfcourt game. nash barbosa bell diaw hill amare and shaq. sounds like a good half court team to me. better than your lakers anyway...

I've always been a fan of Shaq. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I thought it was a good move. Hey, it was A move. The Suns are trying to improve and they're giving it a shot. I've seen crazier things. Shaq's awesome. I'd love to have a player of his stature playing on my team.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I don't think this was a good trade. I don't think it was necessarily a bad one, but I don't think this gives them a better chance to win a title. PHX has multiple problems (mostly on D), and Shaq doesn't really solve any of them.

playoffs, playoffs...with the way teams are stacked right now, the schedule of the suns and their struggling to integrate the cactus into offense and defense not to mention the fact that shaq is out of shape, not to mention possible injury to a 7 man team.. there is a possibility that they may not even make the playoffs.

him not liking Shaq has nothing to do with whether it was a good trade or not

I know the money wouldn't work but Shaq for just Banks would of been a bit more reasonable. But Steve Kerr decided to add Marion to the party. Not a very good idea.

put it this way folks, if its so good, would u give up the number 2 scorer on your team for shaq?

It could go either way, but the only thing you can consider bad about having Shaq on your team is his contract. In many cases, people knock a player because of his production doesn't match his contract (I've done it with Kwame). However, in Shaq's case, he's still a productive player, his production just isn't worth $20 million a year, unless he brings you a championship, that is.

i think the Shaq trade hurts their half court offense more then their fast break offense. With Shaq clogging the lane, the spacing for Nash to work his magic just isnt there. I feel the Suns shouldve stuck with what they know and not try to change their style past the halfway mark of the season. though trading Marion was a good thing, gettign Shaq hasnt shown to be the greatest of trades... YET. im gonna vote for Kobe on this one. that was weird to say lol

It looks bad, but it was a good trade. Amare already had excellent numbers but they have improved since Shaq arrived. The Suns problem the last few games have been that Steve Nash hasn't been scoring. They need Steve's offense.
Vote to the Yankee fan...which hurts me as a Met fan.
