Ok, we both have the penguins to reach the Stanley Cup. The only difference, you have the Pens winning it while I have the Wings.
Penguins might have better talent with Crosby and Malkin, but they are still a young squad. RedWings on the other hand have experienced playmakers and reliable goaltending with Osgood and Hasek.
Players like Datsyuk, Zetteberg, Draper, and Franzen have been there before and knows what it takes. Plus the Wings have fortified their defense by acquiring Brad Stuart, who gives some much needed size to their lineup. They should be a much better team once Lidstrom and Rafalski returns, and that should boost them defensively to fo along with their stellar goaltending.

The Penguins may have a better 1-2 punch in Crosby and Malkin, but this a team game. And overall as a team, the Wings as a team has scored more goals(205 to Penguins 191). That means the Wings present a more balanced scoring in their roster, and won't always have to rely on 1 or 2 guys like the Pens do. Team scoring is imperative in the playoffs, and with a more balanced team, the RedWings are more likely to win the StanleyCup because of better D and goaltending.

Great argument on last box. I don't know if I can beat that.

Alright, you have done nothing whatsoever to substantiate or support your predictions. Anyway, I am gonna give a few more arguments.

Penguins are great but it is usually on the offensive end. There are now up and coming teams that are more balanced on both ends. Detroit is one, Senators are another, and also the emerging club of Montreal. I believe balance is important IF a team is determined to go all the way, and the Penguins are a little lopsided.

Anyway, I am going to turn it over the the FanNation members. I believe the INTEGRITY of their votes will factor in the arguments provided which you basically haven't done. Thanks.
