Our differences are at Center and Point Guard, lets start with Point Guard. First we'll start with my favorite the stats:

Rondo: 10.6 PPG 5 APG 0.7 STL
Gibson: 11.5 PPG 4.5 APG 1.1 STL

Gibson beats Rondo in 2-3 of the statistical things. Plus Gibson is much more important to the Cavs than Rondo is to the Celtics. Gibson and James are all the Cavs have scoring wise. The Celts have Peirce, Garnett, and Ray Allen. Rondo just kind of blends in with the other starters. Plus the MVP of the rookie sophmore game just makes it that much better.

Smith: 9.5 PPG 4.9 RPG 0.2 BPG
Bargnini: 10.5 PPG 5.8 RPG 0.5 BPG

Not only does Bargnani beat Davis in every stat but he also is a big part of the Raptors recent winning streak. He brought his RPG from 2.4 at the beggining to 5.8. Unbelievable if you ask me. Now i am going to tell you this staright I had no clue who Craig Smith was before this Td, I knew who Bargnini was. Plus, what makes this even better for me in Bargnini was in the Rookie vs Sophmore game. Smith wasn't.


First off if your going to name a player do it correctly: Andrea Bargnani is his name...How do i know? Because i didn't know who he was and went looking for a (Anderi Baragini) and couldn't find one...

Why do i have Craig Smith over Bargnani?

well lets look at their shooting percentages because its all there:

CS: .557
AB: .398

Thats ridiculously better..If Smith was taking Bargnani's 9.4 shots a game he'd be alot higher in his PPG. As it is he takes 6.9 shots.

Rondo is a much better defender than Gibson and is much more of a "Last Option" on offense. Also he's a much better passer how about his 16 dimes the other night.

and yet again his shooting percentage is higher

You say that other than James, Gibson is the only other scorer...Then why does he only have 11 points a game?


So your just basing your opinon on Shooting %? Of course your just like everyone else, forgets all aspects of the game but scoring. Daniel Gibson is the only other shooter, Larry Hughes was it but hes gone, who do they have now Wallace?

You can't just base it on shooting%. If it was just down to that i'd say Reggie Evans was the best 3 point shooter in the NBA, (has shot one 3 and made it). You have to think of all aspects. You cant seriously say the Celtics despretly need Rondo. You can say the Cavs need Gibson because if he went down, it would be down to King James, and as you can see he can't do it all by himself.


I'm sorry maybe i thought that the ALL Sophomore Team meant oh idk the BEST sophomores....Maybe if you'd said the Most Valuable Sophomore Team id agree..Maybe..but you didn't.

Rondo makes everyone around him better by creating and dishing it off..Look at the other night when he made Kendrick Perkins look good by dishing 7 assists just to him..Daniel Gibson is a pure shooter now i like the kid but hes just not the best.

Craig Smith is a beast and yes when a shooting percentage is that much different between guys that do shoot every night its an important stat.

Jordan Farmar has the ability to devolp into an All-Star in this league. He even showed it during the Rookie Challenge game.

Agree with Trent, and for Seer im pretty sure Gibson isn't a pure shooter, his APG are almost identiacal to Rondos
