the chargers will win their division in 08

the raiders, cheifs, and broncos are no match for the chargers, who was the oly team to go over .500 in their division. the rest of the division is a joke.

Wow, arrogant a bit here aren't we?

There is over a month until the draft and you have already proclaimed the division huh?

The Chargers have one of the worst coaches to ever walk on a field, they just let their star #2 RB go (no more breathers for LT, or sitting on the sidelines of an AFC title game with a boo boo).

Speaking of that AFC title game, LT was out with a knee injury, if it wasn't serious then he would have played. Knee injuries can really slow a career to a screeching halt, just ask Jamal Anderson, or TD.

Speaking of Knee injuries your QB just had knee surgery and won't be able to walk under his own power for another few months. Add to that as much as he ran his mouth last year, that knee isn't going to hold up trust me.

Your team dropped their FB Neal one of the best to ever play.

There have been 3 days of free agency thus far, there is NO TELLING what the teams will look like come the start of the season.

March 3rd = WAY TOO EARLY TO CLAIM YOU WILL WIN ANYTHING

Winning one season doesn't mean you get free wins in the next one, just ask the Saints, Bears, or Jets. And vice versa, ask the Browns and the Bucs.

Forfeited Turn

Well you haven't really given me much to argue here.

Your only argument is that this division is a joke.

KC was a playoff team just one season ago

Denver HOSTED the AFC title game the year before that.

And Oakland??? well at least they have appeared in a Super Bowl more recently than the Chargers.

The truth is that you really have no clue how a team will do next season.

The Chargers have lost quite a bit of depth, as I see it this team has really maxed out as far as their level of play has gone, every other team seems to be getting better.

Oakland- Solid D, and now has a #1 overall pick playing QB
KC- Returns one of the best RB's in the NFL who missed last year.
Denver- Returns HALF the team that they had to play without last year.

Sure 2007 was an easy year for the Chargers, but it doesn't look like it's going to get easier next year.

With the draft, trades and Free Agents you really don't know who will end up where come the time the season starts.

Forfeited Turn

You skipped 2 turns, so I'm not going to waste my time with putting up another argument here.

In Broncos news, Chargers Safety Marlin McCree is in Denver today and has decided that he will sign with the Broncos or the Bills.

Also Champ's little brother Boss is in Denver today as well for a visit.

Just filling space here. jk.

come on just because your a bronco fan don't argue the chargers won't win it.

Report Offensive Comment

Right now the Chargers have the same record as the Raiders, Chiefs and yes the Broncos.

Report Offensive Comment

the chargers gonna dominate

Report Offensive Comment

just like the Bears did this year?

Report Offensive Comment

LT will be fine but schwarts is right how can u already predict them to win when there still is the free agent period and the draft. But the chargers dont have pne of the worst coaches he's pretty good

Report Offensive Comment

Don't the chargers only have 1 pick in the first 5 rounds, that would suck lol.

Report Offensive Comment

LT will play, be if he knees are starting to go, with as many miles as they have already put on him and they no longer have a #2 to turn to. There is a reason why most teams are starting to have 2 starting RB's.

Report Offensive Comment

It's tough to pick in the off-season, but the AFC West is just a terrible division and the Bolts are the lone bright spot. The only bright thing in Denver is Mike Shanahan's spray tan. This is a no-brainer.

Report Offensive Comment

lol that was funny anywho the broncos are supposed to be on the verg of making some important captures but schwarts does have a point. WHO IS THE SECOND STRING RUNNING BACK NOW THAT TURNER LEFT??

Report Offensive Comment

It's too early to tell - but I'm going with the Chargers.

Report Offensive Comment

hey Josey, I just want to thank you for reading the arguments here. have to say with a lot of TD's like this people read the title and vote

Sacked- no bright spot in Denver? ummm..... They were missing 3 starting O linemen for over 12 games last year. They only had a healthy Travis Henry for the first month of the season (that month he LED THE NFL IN RUSHING!) thier #1 pick missed the entire year. as well as Bailey and Lynch were never healthy at the same time.

ALL OF THAT COMING BACK HEALTHY, and a new defensive coordinator. This was a shell of a team and Cutler, Young, and Marshall still shined.

Report Offensive Comment

There's a ton of quality backs still on the market...Jones, Barber, Ward, Bell, etc.

Report Offensive Comment

and name one that they are even considering?

Report Offensive Comment

Also KC played most of last season without Johnson, if LT went down the Chargers would be awful too. KC won't be nearly as bad next year.

Report Offensive Comment

And the names you are considering (jones,barber,etc...) the chargers wont be able to afford those players are good players dont get me wrong but do u think the chargers would go after them escpially when they have to offer them a average contract sacked92??

And the broncos do have a solid team also with to of the top cornerbacks in the league and a young quarterback who in which is said to be the nxt elway in a matter of yrs

Report Offensive Comment

Are you A.J. Smith? As if a healthy Lynch does anything...he takes himself off the field now. However, he did do an admirable thing and took a cut in pay.

Sproles showed he can step up his game...he did so against NE in the play-offs.

Report Offensive Comment

If a 2nd RB is the only point you've got, your in trouble...the next Elway? Peyton is as close as it gets, and he will be nowheres near as good.

Report Offensive Comment

Actually i was talking about Bly and Bailey lynch is a safety.

And sproles cannot compare to Turner and last time i checked Sproles only ran three times in the patriots game???

Report Offensive Comment

Cutler is more out of the Brett Favre mold than Elway. But Cutler has been QUITE impressive thus far. If you can get a healthy line in front of him and add a deep threat WR and a solid running game and there is no telling.

Report Offensive Comment

Sproles had 1 good run, which was played OVER AND OVER on Sports Center, that doesn't mean that he can fill in as a solid RB.

as for Lynch, the guy can still play. In the game he played in he made a HUGE impact. In a season that he missed games and wasn't 100% for quite a bit he still got an invite to the Pro Bowl.
