well, you took the obvious choice, but im going to go with Derrick Rose of Memphis.
"ST21" lanchbury said 03/03, 01:15 PM
well i was ganna go with tyler but i couldint remember his last name so i went with beasley.
Now heres beasleys stats compared to rose.
beasley avg. 25.7 points per game
12.6 rebounds,
1.625 Blocks per game
Steals per game: 0.69
FG%: 54.8
30 min pergame
Three-point %: 41.9
FT%: 74.0
now i will compare that to derricks.
derrick avg 14.2 points pergame,
4.3 rebounds,
4.5 ast,
1.2 steals,
.4 blocks,
28 min,
FG% .469
FT% .687
3P% .329
now derrick is a freshman but still u picked him so theres his stats compared to beasleys beasley puts up better stats then derrick and hes a better player overal i think.

Sure Beasley has the stats, but he doesn't gel or make his team better like Rose does. He has led his Tigers to a near flawless record, and has done it has a leader.
Also, Beasley is on a team where he is the only player worth noting. Rose is on a team that is the top in the nation that also includes Robert Douglas, Antonio Anderson and Joey Dorsey.
On that note, there are 8 players on the tigers that average more then 5 points a game. Kansas State only has 4 who average more then 5, and the closest person Michael Beasley on his team is 11 points behind him on average.
Derrick Rose is more of a team player, and makes his team better then Beasley then Beasley makes his and is currently the best player in College basketball.

well, you gave me not much to elaborate on, but I'll still make somewhat of an argument. Rose has led his team to a near flawless record and to being one of if not the favorite for the Championship, and Beasley is fighting just to get his team into it.
Also, Rose is a more all-around player, who can play the point, or shooting guard, or even small forward. He'll get you 10+ PPG, 8+ APG and 5+ RPG and reminds me somewhat of a Jason Kidd.

I was thinking Derrick Rose of Memphis. He is a great player, and shows it when he plays. Especially in all the games I watched, he looked steller.

If you seriously think Hansbrough is the best player thats reciduclous. He is a hustle player which is good. But nope. Eric Gordon is not better then Beasley but Eric Gordon is clutch.
