Well you took the obvious and hope that' s your favorite fighter. Anyways, yeah Liddell has done more for Mixed Martial Arts then Rampage in my opinion. Liddell is the most popular fighter in the world, Rampage isn't. Yes, Rampage has beaten Chuck twice but Chuck has beaten better fighters and had WAY more history.
*Chuck has beaten the best in a trilogy being Randy Couture. *Rampage has never beat a fighter like Couture.*
Chuck has punished Tito Ortiz the ufC'S most acknowledged light heavyweight probably ever until your boy Rampage.

How can you say that Liddell is better than Jackson?
That's like saying that Mike Tyson is better than Evander Holyfield even though Holyfield beat him twice... kinda.
Your topic isnt about who's done more for the sport, it's who's better and why.
It's not about how popular or how much history the guy has either.
Oviously Rampage is better. He took out Chuck in the 1st round when everyone thought it would go much longer. 40 seconds? Cmon man.
I don't really see what there is to argue here. Rampage beat Liddel twice flat out. Rampage is better than Liddell.

okay you win. No, i have to come up with something. Liddell in his prime could beat anybody on the planet. Liddell beating couture 2 out of 3 is a great feat. A feat Rampage is no where close to. Rampage is the champ and beat liddell twice but Rampage could not beat Couture or live up to Liddell's historic past. Liddell is the considered the best light heavy ever! What's Rampage, JUST THE CHAMP at the MOMENT. there is a lot of difference between the two. ha

You don't know whether Jackson could beat Couture cus it's never happened. If Liddell could beat Couture, and Rampage can crush Liddell, why couldn't it happen. We could only know for sure if they really fight.
In the title, did you mean who's better right now or who's had a better career? I assume you meant who's the better fighter at the moment, and that would be Rampage Jackson.
If you mean who's had the best career, Liddell would probably be one of the first names mentioned.
However, right now, Rampage Jackson is much better than Chuck Liddell, as their two fights have shown. Both are good fighters, but Jackson has the edge here.

Report Offensive CommentThe Liddell vs Rampage fight was very disappointing if you ask me. It was 40 seconds of staring and 3 seconds of actual fighting. Liddell was backing up when Rampage was swinging which is just dumb thing to do. You always meet your opponents attack with force. That way you can take some of the power off of it.

Abbot is fat piece of garbage who wouldn't beat most guys I used to fight in gyms. They are just trying to make a name out of Kimbo to make money off of him. Sort of reminds me of Tyson.

Report Offensive CommentSure he is a tough guy. I was a bouncer (boxed in those days too) and knew a ton of tough guys. I had a bouncer who was big tough guy come to my gym and I dropped him in the second round. Is he a skilled fighter? That is the question when it comes to combat sports like this one. It seems to me, now I am not a big MMA guy, that he heavyweight division in MMA is as bad off as it is in boxing. Both sports seem to be strong at the other weight classes but with only a couple of contenders in the heavies.
