They have all the ingredients needed to win the Men's basketball tourney: the right amount ot guard production, a solid inside game, terrific rebounding, the ability to play in a half-court scheme OR at an up-tempo pace,and a charismatic coach who is brutally honest and refuses to lose.

Assuming the next best teams who have similar credentials or characteristics are North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, Memphis, Indiana, Duke and Georgetown, nobody else puts the pieces together quite like UT.

UCLA and UNC have arguably the most tournament-ready squads, but niether have gone on the road to knock off a top seed. Kansas is a terrible half-court team considering their talent and UCLA struggles to shoot the ball when the opposition matches them defensively. G-Town is very tough, but they have the same issues that haunt UCLA.

Sure it does. Look at Florida the past two years and UNC and UCONN the years before that. They had the best guard play (Felton, Godon, Humphrey, Brewer) mathced with studs who could either take it to the hoop or park under the basket (Okafor, Horford, May, Noah).
