TD Club, Round 2: MLB Team . . .

With a catch. You must have a player that has an age of 23, 24, 25, 26, and so one up to 38. You must use EVERY age except any one you choose out of 23-38.

You can NOT use the same age TWICE.

Based on what they will do in the future and what the did in the past

Please type the person's age by that player.

DH-David Ortiz, 32
C-Jorge Posada, 36
1B-Prince Fielder, 23
2B-Chase Utley, 29
3B-Alex Rodriguez, 33
SS-Hanley Ramirez, 24
RF-Magglio Ordonez, 34
CF-Curtis Granderson, 26
LF-Matt Holiday, 28

SP-Josh Beckett, 27
SP-Justin Verlander, 25
SP-Roy Halladay, 30
SP-Miguel Batista, 38
SP-Derek Lowe, 35
CP-J.J. Putz, 31

OK, here we go: (I love this throwdown btw)

DH- Travis Hafner, 31
C- Jorge Posada, 36
1B- Todd Helton, 34
2B- Chase Utley, 29
3B- Alex Rodriguez, 33
SS- Jose Reyes, 24
RF- Ken Griffey Jr., 38
CF- Carlos Beltran, 30
LF- Carl Crawford, 26

SP- Johan Santana, 28
SP- Justin Verlander, 25
SP- Dan Haren, 27
SP- Tim Hudson, 32
SP- Tim Lincecum, 23
CP- Jason Isringhausen, 35

Travis Hafner vs. David Ortiz . . .

Well, Hafner had a bad year last year and those aren't easy to come off of. Anyways, Ortiz still had better stats in 2006 and that is also when Hafner had his great year. Ortiz has just always been Mr. Clutch, he is better.

Prince Fielder has just had a 50 HR year, the youngest player to do that, and Helton is coming off a year with 17 homeruns and his numbers have been declining in the past few years. Prince, any day.

I would definitly take Hanley Ramirez over Jose Reyes, here is why:

Ramirez:
.332
29 HRs
81 RBIs
51 steals

Reyes:
.280
12 HRs
57 RBIs
78 steals

Reyes only has Ramirez in steals and 51 is still a great amount.

I will combine each of our outfielders stats and then compare:

My team:
617 hits
86 HRs
351 RBIs
41 steals

Your Team:
485 hits
74 HRs
285 RBIs
77 steals

The only thing you beat me in was steals, so yeah . . .

all good points execpt u are forgetting about WHAT THEY DID IN THE PAST
-Griffey is a hall of famer
-Helton was one of the greatest hitters of the 90s
-Isringhausen was a top closer in the game for many years

-my pitchers are also better than yours
Johan>Beckett
Halladay and Haren are pretty close considering Haren is younger
Tim Hudson>>>>>>>>Miguel Batista
and Lincecum is one of the next great young pitchers

School's important but I find myself distracted more often than not and am forced to do homework the class before it's due...

I say screw it to school yet I am still getting offers from everywhere. like University of Pennsylvania which is where i want to go.

Does the University of Phoenix online count? They always load my inbox with tons of great offers to attend their prestigious college.
