Chavez vs Beltre. Let's see what has Beltre donw with the Mariners....NOTHING GREAT. HE IS A GOOD PLAYER, BUT CHAVEZ IS BETTER DEFENSIVELY AND HITTING. Chavez is better even though he got injured last year he still helped his team more than Beltre.

This is a little segmant in the show I'd like to call STATS. Let's take a look shall we?

Beltre: 276 BA 26 HR 99 RBI 14 SB
Chavez: 240 BA 14 HR 44 RBI 4 SB

Let's face it, it's the AL west, none of the players are great. Not only does Beltre mean MUCH, yes MUCH more to the Mariners then Chavez does to the A's but his stats are much better. I don't want to hear all that horse **** about him being hurt. Chavez also has Dan Johnson backing him up who did pretty well considering he was a backup.

Adrian Beltre has Willie Bloomquist backing him up. Quick fact, NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THE GUY UNTIL 5 SECONDS AGO! Beltre is a force on that team. He is a monster player, plus do those stats about chavez being a better batter really match-up? Of course not. On to Fielding, which apperently Eric Chavez is much better at:

Beltre:.958 Fielding %
Chavez:.901 Fielding %

Do my eyes decieve me! Is Adrian Beltre have a better fielding % then Eric Chavez. Of course. Wrong again. Another thing where did the Mariners place? Oh yeah SECOND. 88-74. Where did the A's place? THIRD. 76-86. Tsk Tsk Yanks Tsk Tsk. Ok I think im done.....

Chavez would have had better stats if he didn't get injured at the end of the season. Chavesz still is better overrall because he is a big help to his team when healthy, while beltre couldn't help his team get to the playoffs, so how is he better? I know Chavez didn't either, but like I said he was injured so he couldn't help them.
