Kobe vs. LeBron
LeBron has better stats than Kobe this year, yes, but Kobe now has the players on his team to do it along with him. LeBron is the MAN, the only man, on that time and he has to do everything for them. Kobe is also a lockdown defender, LeBron definetly is not. I take Kobe for his all-around game.
LT vs. Brady
LT is probably the most explosive player in the NFL. He can beat you so many ways. He will go out and catch passes down the middle or out in the flat. He can take you outside and he can run past you up the middle. His speed is amazing and he has the power that can't even be matched by some MLB. He will blow past you, juke you, or just run you the **** over. People should just move out of his way and let him score, that way they get the ball back faster b/c he is going to score eventually.
Crosby vs. Lidstrom
Come on, this one isn't even close. Crosby has the potential to the next Great One. He can score, dish, do whatever he wants. When he plays, it is like watching ballet, except more physical, he just dances around defenders and scores. This one isn't even close; if you were going to challenge it you could have at least picked Ovechkin.

LeBron James is much better than Kobe Bryant. He is leading (career wise) Bryant in points per game, assists per game, and rebounds per game.
He is the only good player on the team? Not really, and if I'm going with your reason, I could just say that LeBron has better leadership qualities. He lead his team to the Finals WITHOUT a Shaquille O'Neal or Pau Gasol.
As a quarterback, Tom Brady is definitly the best. He has great leadership skills, broke a record, and he's a winning machine. He is much better than LT. For one thing, he has carried the Patriots to a 16-0 record, they are 3-1 in the Super Bowl with him, he can lead any team. Now lets look at LT . . . no broken records . . . no 16-0 years . . . no Super Bowl apearences. He can't win the big games, definitly not the best player.
Crosby gets all of the attention because he is a forward and gets all of the stats and all of the goals. Lidstrom has been a much better leader, has won numerous awards, and played for ten all-star teams. Crsoby has hardly any of this. Also, just to name some stats, Lidstrom has a +39 and 54 assists. Crosby has 45 assists and a +18. Lidstrom's team also has a better record.
RedSox_Repeat2008 said 03/17, 06:36 PM
Correction, LT holds the record for most rushing TD in a season. Brady's team has always been better. When teams play the Chargers they stack up against the run b/c they know who the MAN is. When you play the Pats the ball could go anywhere: Moss, Welker, Maroney; they have a dual attack. The Bolts are basicall all run, it's tougher for LT.
Crosby also missed a month with an injury. At his current rate, he would have more assists than Lidstrom. Crosby has more points and has played in 18 less games. He is a superstar, I don't know how you can deny that he is the best player in the NHL.
That's exactly my point. Had Kobe been the sole player on his team and never played with Shaq I would bet he would average more the LBJ. He played with Shaq in his prime, when the big man averaged 20+ points and took plenty of shots. Had Kobe gotten more of those and played with no one like LBJ, he would be the NBA's leading scorer career wise. LBJ shoots slightly higher from the field, but he is more of a driver, but Kobe is better from 3 point land and by far better from the charity stripe.

Great players are the players who can win the big game. I can't remember the last time that the Chargers beat the Patriots. You can be a FANTASTIC runningback but still be #2 to someone else if you don't win a Super Bowl.
See above with Lidstrom vs. Crosby.
But also, LIdstrom is a defenseman, he is better at different sections of the game. But for a defenseman having more assists even if the forward was out for a while, that is unbelievable.
Lidstrom is also a better leader, just look at the records.
If I wasan NBA player, I would kill to have another great player on my team. A player to help me win a championship, a player to set me up for points, a player to take the pressure and possibly the double-team off me. You are going the completely wrong direction with this.

Report Offensive Commentthats very debatable.. but no.. A-Rod is going to, providing he stays healthy, break the home-run record steriod free.. he isnt as good in the field.. but his base eunning gives him an edge

ARod 162 game career averages are:
.306, 44 HR, 128 RBIs, 130Ks, OBP .389, SLG% .578, OPS: .967, BA with RiSP: .306
Pujols 162 game career averages are
.332, 42 HR, 128 RBI, 67Ks, OBP .420, SLG %.620, OPS: 1.040BA with RiSP: .344
and Pujols is the best fielder in baseball at his position...and can play mulitple positions...
So, ARod has him in homers...by 2...and stolen bases...
Pujols has him on BA, Ks (almost half as many as ARod), OBP, Slg%, OPS, BA with RiSP, and defense...

Tom Brady??? Give me a break! There are soo many other players in the NFL that are better.
Don't know or care about the NBA but I would say Iverson!?
MLB..... Not A-Rod. Pick anyone else.
