IN NO ORDER. These are the top 5 guys and NO ORDER
1) Jim Kelly
2) Dan Marino
3) Fran Tarketon
4) Warren Moon
5) Dan Fouts
IN NO ORDER!
Big Ben68 said 06/11, 06:16 PM
I guess I'll just make an order to this, seeing as I have no idea what you mean and I really feel like making an argument instead of allowing this to sit here unattended. Let's do it!
Okay, IN AN ORDER:
1) Jim Kelly would have to be up here because he went to four consecutive Super Bowls and lost to NFC East team after NFC East team. He just couldn't seem to win it. He had great stats over his career and played with another Hall of Famer in Thurman Thomas and his coach Marv Levy who is now the GM for the Bills. The closest he ever got to a ring was against the Giants in 1990 when his kicker missed the game winning field goal in the closing seconds. Very unfortunate for a great player. The next closest time was against the Cowboys, but the ???Boys made a huge second half comeback to win the Super Bowl 30-13 (13-6 at Halftime).
Next four coming soon.

Wow, you let it sit there unattended for all of 10 minutes. If you wanted to comment, then you should have let some one else take the throwdown and then you could comment. I dont get easy wins....15-31-1....thats a whole lot of easy wins huh????

What is there really to argue in this?
Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 05:50 PM
Report Offensive Commentim with ben there is nothing to disagree about unless your just trying to get one of thouse cheap wins
mizzy | 06/11/07, 05:56 PM
Report Offensive CommentI'm with both Big Ben68 and mizzy. There is no point to this throwdown because Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, Warren Moon, and Dan Fouts never won a Super Bowl. Trying for an easy win aren't you Roger Goodell
Vince Young Jr. | 06/11/07, 06:12 PM
Report Offensive CommentWow!!!!!!!!!!! Nice ****.
Vince Young Jr. | 06/11/07, 06:13 PM
Report Offensive CommentThen why take the trhowdown?? Leave it up there for a day or two, see if anyone disagrees. Thats what throwdowns are about right?? If you cant argue it, then dont take it?? I dont get cheap wins there mizzy......look at my record!
Goodell: Welcome Back Peters! | 06/11/07, 06:14 PM
Report Offensive CommentNo, I want to try and argue this...and I've submitted an argue and I'm waiting for you because I don't have enough characters to write even two of my overviews into the argument.
Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 06:17 PM
Report Offensive CommentThis is ridiculous..... Big Ben should argue or forfit. Let some one who actually want to throwdown make a comment. Im acutally offended that you think i want an easy win. If you look at any of my throwdowns, i have never taken the easy win!
Goodell: Welcome Back Peters! | 06/11/07, 06:17 PM
Report Offensive CommentI never even thought that you were trying to get an easy win. I POSTED A D*MN ARGUMENT!! Can you not read?
Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 06:19 PM
Report Offensive CommentCongrats!
Goodell: Welcome Back Peters! | 06/11/07, 06:21 PM
Report Offensive CommentWhat the **** are you talking about? Make an argument and don't complain! I made an actual argument and you come back with that!?!?
Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 06:21 PM
Report Offensive CommentUm....I agree that its rediculous, but that being said, how can Marino not be first on the list? The argument isn't "quarterback who came closest but didn't get it," the question is "who is the greatest who didn't get it," and that's Marino.
noydbyj | 06/11/07, 06:25 PM
Report Offensive CommentI think it is Kelly because he had four shots, but still couldn't get it done. Marino had one shot and nearly had it, but the Niners D put the crunch on him in the second half. And I was actually going to argue this, but then he forfeited...I'm still trying to figure out why!
Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 06:26 PM
Report Offensive CommentWhy talk about guys who couldnt get it done in the big game?
Have a throwdown about Namath, Montana, Elway, Brady, Manning, Young, Aikman, Bradshaw, Starr, etc.
Mac: Suicide and Redemption | 06/11/07, 06:28 PM

Big Ben68 | 06/11/07, 06:37 PM

mizzy | 06/11/07, 06:59 PM
Report Offensive CommentBecause Peyton Manning just won a sb. But this is a cheap throwdown.
