2. Johnny Unitas
3. John Elway
4. Brett Favre***
5. Dan Marino***
Let me first start off by saying I fully expect Brady to be on this list by the time he retires, but he only has 7 years of starting under his belt. That is far too soon to be putting him on a list of this caliber. Dan Marino has 61,361 passing yards
420 touchdowns
252 ints
Those numbers are incredible and he never really had a great supporting cast. Most of the time he was on his own. He was one of a few QBs to throw for 5,000 yards and he threw for
4,000 yards 6 times and 2 times he was within 30 yards of 4,000 so basically 8 4,000 yard seasons.
He had 48 touchdown passes his second seasons which was a record for a while until Manning then Brady broke it.
Brady has 197 TDs 86 INTs and 26,370 yards. Not there yet, BUT will be.
A lot of people say if Namath wouldn't have guaranted a superbowl win, he would be out of the HOF.

You mean Namath?
Don't worry about it man, its your first throwdown. You will get better at them but here are a few tips.
You have the idea, but if you want to win any throwdowns you have to back up your opinions with facts and stats and a strong argument. Like with Marino-Namath. You don't have a lot to work with but you could always bring up the superbowl factor and how Namath GUARANTED one of the biggest upsets in superbowl history.

UMMMM OTTO GRAHAM should be on here. According you the people of votes in one of my TDs Otto graham is the best QB of all time yet he never gets any attention on these types of TDs. Ghost calm down you homer.

Well whatever i Can't argue the Marlins they did beat my Indians in 1997 I can't argue the Panthers either Celveland doesn't have a hockey team.
Yet Otto Graham should still be on the list. I am not going to to vote because Otto Graham isn't on either list.
Chengy: bye FN

Otto was great, but I just don't know where he would fit. I think I MIGHT put him at 6. Either he or Fran.

Those are horrible memories for me Ghost. I must say though that that Marlins team was overflowing with talent.
Derek Lee, Edgar Renteria, Dereck Lowe, Livan Hernandez, and that stupid RF who robbed us.
Chengy: bye FN

Otto Should be top 5. This is me not even being homer just how I feel.
1. Johnny U
2. Otto Graham
3. Montana
4. Fran
5. Broadway Joe
I just think that modern QBs get all the love from the hype and the style of play whereas I still believe the older players were a lot better players.
Chengy: bye FN

Chengy do you remember when Renteria hit that little blooper to 2nd base and Counsell ran to home??

Yeah of course Damn dagger through my heart. Both times the Indians were in the series in 95 and 97 they were really good series. I am going to maintain this though. We have never had a game where only 13 people showed up,

Chengy, you have to understand that he was a man among boys. He literally had NO competetion in a VERY, VERY watered down league. Plus he had a pretty good RB to take some pressure off of him LOL.
Nowadays there are much better and more athletic CBs and S's.
The guy is great, don't get me wrong and I put in Johnny U as an oldie, but Graham did not play long enough to get up here.

Bleedblue are you serious? Joe Namath wasn't even close to the best either.
