Give me evidence on that!
Stauff Nation TB said 03/18, 08:57 PM
Was that seriously your arguement? I was planning on giving evidence in my next arguement... I was a lil nervous I'd be stoned to death for not putting Bill Walsh up here after reading the comments but now I'm not as worried...
Landry over Halas: As much as it pains me to say it (being a Bears fan) Landry is better than Halas for several reasons. Landry posted 20 straight seasons with a winning record (1966-85). 20 SEASONS!
During this time he led the Cowboys to two Super Bowls and 5 NFC Championships. He was the first head coach of the Cowboys and morphed them from a rolling ball of crap to one of the best teams in the NFL in less than 20 years.
Lombardi over Lambeau: This really goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway. Lambeau has more career wins, but in his 33 years he had a career Winning pct of .631 ( I say "only" because Lombardi's was .738) Lambeau coached for 23 more seasons than Lombardi did, but Lambeau won 6 championships in 33 years compared to Lombardi's 5 championships (including 2 Super Bowls) in 10 years. Plus, Lombardi is 62 career games over .500, while Lambeau is 94, in other words, only a 32 game difference is 23 years.
How's my evidence?
bigred461 is Kosuke Fukodome said 03/18, 11:30 PM
First of all that wasn't my argument, Lambeau over Lombardi because of the fact he won 229 games and 6 chamionships compared to Lombardi's 96 wins and 5 championships. I agree with Landry over halas.
Stauff Nation TB said 03/19, 12:12 AM
Yes it was your arguement. That's what you said. Therefore, that is your arguement. Rstowe: Help this man. (no need to worry. Rstowe is like the Mother Teresa of FN. He brings in unfortunate TDer's and nurtures them back to full competitive TDing health)
First of all, I pointed out that Lambeau has more championships and wins in my 2nd arguement, so basically you're just restating what I just said but never built on that. I explained why Lombardi is still better, and you didn't have a counter-arguement.
Secondly, if you agree with Landry over Halas than why did you rank Halas over Landry in your picks? Cus he has more wins than Landry? Time for Nick to come through and explain why Landry is better (I believe he knows what I'm talking about)
Anyways, here is the link to a group on FN for new members of FN. You obviously need help and it is the equivalent of AA on this site. I'm admitting you to CAN (calling all newbies)
