2. Reggie Bush
3. Barry Sanders
4. Earl Cambell
5. Archie Griffin

Hows it going bigred? Rockets game getting ugly so I'll do this.

1. Barry Sanders
2. Ron Dayne
3, Hershel Walker
4. Ricky Williams
5. Archie Griffin

So we have Ron Dayne vs. Reggie Bush and Earl vs. Ricky Williams.

Reggie Bush was good, but not great. He only played for 3 years which automatically almost eliminates him and he only had one year with over 1,000 yards.

Rushing
433 attempts
3,169 yards
25 touchdowns

Nothing really special. He made great plays, but Dayne was much better.

Dayne had rushing
6,397 yards (NCCA record)
71 touchdowns (big 10 record)
One of 5 players to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his 4 years

Insane college numbers and clearly was MUCH better than Bush.

Earl Campbell finished his college career with 4,444 yards

Ricky Williams holds 15 current NCAA records including total yards, 200 yard games, among otheers.

He has 6,279 rushing yards, 27 100 rushing yard games, 11 200 yard games, and 2 300 yard rushing games.

Also he has 72 rushing touchdowns.

It's goin good butbthe game is going terrible.

I think that the years you play in college doesn't affect the greatness of the player.

Reggie Bush(3yrs)

Att Yds Avg TD
2005 200 1,740 8.7 16
2004 143 908 6.3 6
2003 90 521 5.8 3

Ron Dayne was just like Ryan Leaf but not as bad coming out of college
but he was a bust while Reggie Bush kept his momentum going.

Well dude, you said top 5 college RBs of all time. That sort of means that their pro career doesn't mean anything. If this was entering pro careers into play then I would have Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmit Smith, and Marshall Faulk, but it is based off of college careers. Dayne may not be great as a pro but he tore up the field in college. He was dominate and retired holding a LOT of NCAA records including rushing yards which he broke and Ricky Williams had the previous record. Another person on my list.

Bush was one of the best RBs if it was going based off of a player's best season then Bush would be right up on that list, but he really only had one good year. Ron Dayne and Ricky Williams had a very high level of play and were able to sustain it for a 4 year career which is much more impressive than one huge year and 2 other years where he couldn't even break 1,000 rushing yards and only had 9 touchdowns in the 2 combined seasons. Dayne held out his amazing play (which was better than Bush's) for 4 years which is incredibly tough to do and deserves some recognition for.

Good luck.

I need to get better!

Keep trying dude, it will come naturally soon.

The only player to win "2" Heisman trophys only rates number 5?? Reggie Bush and Ron Dayne rate above him in BOTH lists? NO Vote

Kevin Smith will end up being on this list if he has one more year like last year if he didn't leave early.
