Hansbrough is player of the year! HANDS DOWN!

I made this argument a month or so ago and it has come to pass! Beasley has not been the MVP for anything but himself.

They (his team) is out of the tourney and all he is going to do next year is help himself to juicey NBA contract.

Beasley is going and Hansbrough won't go! Priorities?

NBA wants Hansbrough but he wants to be his teams MVP for the school not for him!

Hansbrough is HANDS DOWN, Player of the Year!

A few more people are more well deserving the National Player of the Year than Tyler Hansbrough.

First of all, Hansbrough is a great player, but in all fairness, he did have quite a bit of help in the tournament and regular season, Ty Lawson anyone?

Michael Beasly was able to carry his team with no help at all and made a big splash when Beasly and the rest of Kansas State upsetted 6th ranked USC in the first round.

Beasly's stats also rank above Hanbrough's during the regular season:

Beasly:
26.2 PPG
12.4 RPG
1.2 APG
1.6 BPG

Hansbrough:
22.8 PPG
10.2 RPG
0.9 APG
0.4 BPG

Michael Beasly also did better than Hansbrough in the tournament. Beasly has had 46 points and 24 rebounds while Hansbrough has had 38 points and 16 rebounds.

Raymor Morgan isn't that flashy but he has been the workhouse behind Michigan State's success and has basically led the Spartans this far in the tournamnet. When Drew Neitzel has bad games, which he often does, Morgan is right there to back him up.

Kevin Love, Derrick Rose and Stephon Curry are all a little bit more deserving as well but I will explain that in my next argument.

Beasley and Hansbrough are the only two real contenders and Hansbrough has meant more to the success of his team....and that was while Ty Lawson was gone.

FORGET THE STATS!!!!!!!!!!

Hansbrough is a LEADER on his team not just a scoring machine with some really great moves. Beasely nor any other player in the NCAA has played with the intensity that Hansbrough has and thusly no player has had the same impact on his team.

I used the "Hands Down" again because I will be proven correct concerning this issue and because any one who carefully looks at all of the tangibles and intangibles(UNC is and has been winning) can only come to the same conclusion.

I don't argue for the sake of arguing ALL THINGS CONSIDERED Hanbrough has been the most valuable player this year to his team!

Love , Rose and Curry have certainly stepped up their game in the tourney but they haven't shined as well in the regular season.

As a matter of fact, during the tournament Hansbrough has UNSELFISHLY passed the ball and given others like Lawson and Green their chance to shine and help the team to be the best they can be.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT BEING THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER TO THEIR TEAM

If we are talking about the most valuable player to their own team, Stephon Curry, Michael Beasly, Kevin Love, and Raymor Morgan would win in a land slide.

But yet, you are changing the rules as we go along . . .

First it was "player of the year" . . .

The next it was MVP to his own team . . .

Interesting . . .

Well, Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Stephon Curry, and Raymor Morgan have all advanced as far as Tyler Hansbrough so you can't get me there . . .

I can blow you out of the water with stats from Michael Beasly and Curry . . .

Rebounds belong to Love and Beasly . . .

No assists at all for Hansbrough . . .

I'd just say that my players are more valuable to their team.

Raymor Morgan has alwaysled the Spartans when Drew Neitzel wasn't playing good, which happened a lot . . .

Derrick Rose is even more unselfish than Hansbrough, he'll pass up a good shot for a better one from one of his teamates and has carried them to a 33-1 record . . .

Curry has led Davidson to an unseemingly so Sweet 16 appearence, averaging well over 30 points per game . . .

So I guess my players are more deserving, unless you change the rules again . . .

Forfeited Turn

Wow, what a TD. First, I argue and I get in the lead . . .

Then you change the rules . . .

Then you forfeit your turn . . .

And now . . .

You are losing this TD 20-6 . . .

Use common knowledge next time to NOT change the rules . . .

Wow....I was fully expecting the great argument of Nuff Said in there as well.

So, Hansbrough is the best player in the nation, way better than the rest, and no doubt about it?

Report Offensive Comment

Michael Beasley and Stephen Curry...that's all I gotta say.

I take exception to the claim that Beasly carried his team "with no help at all". Bill Walker WAS Michael Beasly going into the 2006-2007 season. He came to K-State with a lot of fanfare and speculation that he was a "one and done" player which he would have been had he not suffered a knee injury. Walker demonstrated in the first round of the tourney against USC that he is a major contributor to the team.

Fresh----Most valuable player to his team...this is not about "who was the best ever center in the NCAA"

a month or so ago you should have learned that the "hands down" statement is instant death in a TD

Exactly.

Tyler Hansbrough = Overrated! HANDS DOWN!

lol

Report Offensive Comment

Are you allowed to change the rules like this?

Report Offensive Comment

So how many times do you think this TD has been done like twenty bizzillion

Report Offensive Comment

Wow....changed rules from player of the year to MVP of his team......gotta love TDs like this.

Report Offensive Comment

Bones, please don't change the rules again.

Player of the Year or MVP to his team, one or the other . . .

Report Offensive Comment

Dude, you can't change the rules in the middle of a TD. I agree... Hansborough should be Player of the Year. But come on... play by the rules...

Welcome back Bones

LESTER HUDSON!!!!!!!!!!!

Report Offensive Comment

What about the big east player of the year Luke Harrengody GODY

Report Offensive Comment

If i was pickin between hansborough and beasly, beasly averages more points, rebounds, assists, and blocks per game.
and he pretty much does it by himself with no one else as good as him on his team

Report Offensive Comment

Well if Lester can't get any respect, then I'm gonna have to go with: Beasly is player of the year! HANDS UP!

Report Offensive Comment

If I had a vote it would be for Hansbrough.
