North Carolina has averaged 110.5 pts a game so far in the tournament. They are playing the best basketball right now when it counts.
They are also tightening up on defense, allowing only 71 to Mount Saint Mary's, and 77 against Arkansas, and those scores would have been a lot lower if they had not put in their backups at the end of those games, and NC's score would have been higher.
Right now they look unstoppable. Ty Lawson is back at 100%, he had 17 pts against arkansas, 5 assts., and 0 turnovers. After looking at almost of the last National champions, they had great point guards, and right now Lawson is playing like the best Point guard in the nation. And lets not forget, they have the player of the year Hansbrough who is a monster in the paint.
