Brett Favre retiring was a bad move for him. In the next year or two I think he could have got ANOTHER super bowl ring. He was playing in the regular season with 24 TDs and 4155 yards and I think he could have done it. Yes he was getting really old but most QBs that are this old (Yes there has been a few) only get like 15 to 17 TDs and only like 3115 to 3300 yards. I definetly think Brett could have got another ring in there.

I don't think it was a bad move at all. When your retiring from the nfl, you gotta follow your heart. If you still think you can commit and you still love the game then you stay, but in his case he was just emotionally exhausted.

He did have an above average chance at another ring but who cares. He already owns every major record and he still has a ring, what else is there left for him to do. What if he came back to get a ring and got seriously injured and wasn't the same for the rest of his life?

At some point, as hard as it may be, you just gotta say enough is enough.

So what....Get more rings... Ya he could have got seriously injured but dont worry about that. Think positive and positive things will happen.Ya he may have been emotionally exhausted but he loves the game so I think it was very very hard to say those words. He probably retired because he was afraid he would get seriously hurt but all he had to do was think positive and he would have got another ring or something positive would happen.

I got one question for you...... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!?!

So if I think positive I'm gonna win the lottery? I'm thinking really positive right now. (Penolope Cruz totally wants me.)

Anyways.... If your emotionally exhausted and you just can't think you can do it anymore, than why do it? Would getting one more ring make him a better quaterback an anyones book. I honestly don't think so.

And please leave your positive thinking talks for self help book...

OMG WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Yes getting yet another ring would make him a better quarterback. And yes if you think positive most likely you will get something positive back...Ever heard that phrase????I have a lot.

I'm talking about your positive talk logic being absolutely mad!

If that's the way it was, I'd be in the NFL, MLB, and NBA right now and would have already won 6.02 x 10 to the 23 power championships by now!! (Author's note: Send me a fanmail if you not what unit of measurement that is)

Your making it sound like a positive attitude is the most important thing, which while it is incouraging to small children, couldn't be more incorrect.

Have you ever heard the phrase "Not the brightest crayon in the box?"

Think positive and good things happen, sure. It's not going to prevent you from getting injured! It's not going to win you a Super Bowl either. I'm willing to bet that every team wants a ring just as much as every other team.

Getting another ring would ABSOLUTELY NOT make him a better QB than he already is, it would only pad his stats. he's already a first ballot HOF-er.

It's a good move on his part, if he thinks it's a good move. Who the hell are you to tell Bret Favre how to live his life.
