Make an MLB team with players who are projected by ESPN (http://games.espn.go.com/flb/tools/projections?display=alt&start=1&slo tCategoryGroupId=1)... to have 25 or fewer homeruns. Last year stats*

C- Jorge Posada
1B- (V-Mart doesnt count) Derek Lee
2B- Brian Roberts
SS- Jose Reyes
3B- Chipper Jones
OF- Ichiro
OF- Magglio Ordonez
OF- Curtis Granderson


C-Victor Martinez- Right at 25 is a safe bet
1B-James Loney- Great player w/ great power
2B- Ian Kinsler- Was 4 off last year and missed 3 weeks
3B- Chipper Jones- For Chipper 25 HR is a given.
SS- Troy Tulowitzki- was 1 off last year
RF-Jeff Francouer-Will hit more than 25 HR
CF-Vernon Wells- Worst year was last year back to 30 HR 100 RBI
LF-Wily Mo Pena- given 500 At Bats he will hit 30 HR


Umm.. okey.. you do know it is by last year stats right?

C- V-Mart vs. Jorge

Jorge- 91 Runs, 171 Hits, 42 2B, 20 HR, 90 RBI, .338 BA, (6th in MVP voting)
Mart- 78 Runs, 169 Hits, 40 2B, 25 HR, 114 RBI, .301 BA, (7th in MVP voting)

1B- Loney vs. Lee

Lee- 91 runs, 180 hits, 43 2B, 22 HR, 82 RBI, .317 BA
Loney- 41 runs, 114 hits, 18 2B, 15 HR, 67 RBI, .331 BA

2B- Roberts vs Kinsler

Roberts- 103 runs, 180 hits, 42 2B, 12 HR, 57 RBI, 50 SB
Kinsler- 96 runs, 127 hits, 22 2B, 20 HR, 61 RBI, 23 SB

OF- Magglio vs. Wells

Magglio- 117 runs, 216 hits, 54 2B, 28 HR, 139 RBI, .363 BA, (2nd in MVP)
Wells- 85 runs, 143 hits, 36 2B, 16 HR, 80 RBI, .345 BA

OF- Granderson vs. Mo Pena

Granderson- 122 runs, 185 hits, 38 2B, 23 3B, 23 HR, 74 RBI, .302 BA (10th in MVP voting)
Mo Pena- 42 runs, 73 hits, 13 2B, 1 3B, 13 HR, 39 RBI, .253


Ichiro hit only 6 HR's last year while Francouer hit 19. The year before Francoeur hit 29 HR. Ichiro has never hit 20 HR. No way that Ichiro will this year.

Ordonez won't repeat his #'s from last year. He plays in the biggest ballpark in the major leagues and isn't a guy who'll hit 25 HR.

I don'tknow why you have all the stats from last year. Wily Mo had 10 less HR than Granderson but he only played as a starter dor 2 months. Granderson had 112 more hits than Pena. If Pena plays the full year he will hit 30 HR.

Posada had a career year last year no way he repeats it. He is 36 catcher's don't have breakout years after playing for almost 15 years. He will return to earth. Victor Martinez is just entering his prime and should hit 25+ HR for years to come.

Again Loney had limited playing time last year and showed over a full season he is a 30+ HR hitter. Lee just doesn't have the same power since his shoulder injury a few years ago.

Brian Roberts hit 12 Hr in a full year. Ian Kinsler had 21 while missing 3 weeks. Kinsler could have reached 25 HR if he had played. He is young and his power will just increase.

I'm sorry I missed my last argument by 20 minutes.

I am guessing this is saying who was underprojected in their HR total so why does left give full list of stats and not focus on HR and HR/AB. I like rights C, 2B, SS, OF but left's Ordonez and Lee overall vote -->

The title is misleading, it is about the best players overall who arent projected to have 25 HRs.
