top 5 WRs

1.Randy"Dandy"Moss
2.T.O.
3.Steve"Eat My Shorts"Smith(panthers)
4.Andre"The Hurricane"Johnson
5.Reggie"The Mayne"Wayne

So I am assuming you mean bsed on last season.

1. Randy Moss
2. Terell Owens
3. Reggie Wayne
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Braylon Edwards

Steve Smith had a bad year because of sucky Qb situation he is easily better than fitz or bray ed
andre was out 9 games and played 7. without him the texans went 2-7 with him they were 6-1, yeah big impact
he also averaged a little over a touchdown per game (8 total TDs) and over 120 yards per game so if he would have been in the whole year he wouldve had around 16 TDs and 1600 yards
besides he is better than fitz bray ed and wayne
wayne is next after smith and andre

First off, Johnson missed 7 and PLAYED 9, not the other way around.

Let's compare our differences. Fitzgerald/Edwards vs. Smith/Johnson.

Fitz: 15G/ 100 rec/ 1409 yds/ 14.1 avg ypc/ 10 TD's
Edwards: 16G/ 80 rec/ 1289 yds/ 16.1 avg ypc/ 16 TD's

SSmith: 15G/ 87 rec/ 1002 yds/ 11.5 avg ypc/ 7TD's
AJohnson: 9G/ 60 rec/ 851 yds/ 14.2 avg ypc/ 8 TD's

As you can see, Fitzgerald and Edwards provide better production. even with Johnson out 7 games, his average is still sub par compared to Fitz or Edwards. His season totals are lower, I give him that due to missing out on 7 games, but if you look at his average(not totals), Braylon Edwards is a little more prolific than him.

As far as Steve Smith, why would you pick him if you are gonna blame his lackluster year on a QB situtation. Even if delhomme was the QB all year, to say that he will have a more productive year than Fitz or edwards is extremely hypothetical. Edwards has more than twice his TD and gets almost 5 more yards per reception.

Fitz and Edwards provide more consistency and aren't as injury plagued. You're gonna pick Smith and Johnson as top 5 WR's yet you're going to make excuses for them?

Again, I reiterate. AJohnson was OUT 7 games, not 9. I don't know where you got your info. You should look it up.

Alright let me compare our Edwards vs. Johnson since they are both in the AFC. Fitz and Smith via NFC. It's only logical due to same conference.

Even with Johnson playing 9 games with 8 TD's, Edwards has 16 G's with 16 TD's. That's 1 TD per game avg for Braylon. AJ if he was on pace for 16 G, his TD total will still be slightly below Braylon's. And Braylon gets more yards per reception.

Now with Fitz vs. Smith. Fitz led the NFC in total rec yards last year. In the same amount of games as Smith, he has tallied over 400 more yards and 3 more TD's. That's pretty impressive especially when you have to share the load with another talent such as Boldin.

Smith had down year no doubt but you can't really blame all his downfall solely on a QB situation. His yards per game avg: 66.7. Fitzgerald's: 93.9 YPG. Now who do you feel is more productive.

Also, why you have these 2 guys over reggie Wayne is an puzzling. Wayne was one of the top premier receivers in the NFL last season. There's no way that Johnson or Smith are better than him. Shoud be 3rd.

never heard "the hurricane", or "the mayne" before...

I think he made up these names...

Report Offensive Comment

1. Randy Moss
2. Reggie Wayne
3. Terrell Owens
4. Braylon Edwards
5. Andre Johnson OR Fitz

Report Offensive Comment

Hmm, interesting. I really think Andre Johnson should be on here based on last year. He missed a lot of games, but still put up monster numbers. I'll wait for arguments though, since you can definitely make a case for Fitz or Edwards.

Report Offensive Comment

two amazing list,so ill set back, relax, and enjoy what has the making of a good td

Report Offensive Comment

sorry please look at this i didnt mean to waste that argument
andre is not injury plagued he has been injured once
steve smith had a great year up until delhomme injury
and andre for your information was out 9 games
you cant use braylon to argue against both of my guys you use him against one and fitz agaisnt the other
andre would have had more yards than edwards if he played the whole year andre also averages over 120 yards per game
and by the way i didnt mean based off last season i meant best reciever by how good they are

Vote to the right. Better arguments.

dude
andre was freakin out 9 games cause they were 2-7 without him 2+7=9 smart one
besides it is not based on last season it is based on how good they are

Report Offensive Comment

Again, Andre Johnson was OUT 9 games. Check nfl.com, yahoo sports, and even cbs sportsline. You info is way way off. Also, John averaged just under 95 yds a game NOT 120 yds like you stated in your 2nd argument. Quit misleading people. most of your info is INCORRECT. Andre Johnson's 851 yds divided by 9 games(NOT 7) is 94.5. Also, the Texans in the regualr season were 2-5 WITHOUT HIM (count it that's 7 games). Maybe you've mistaken things by adding the preseason which doesn't count.

Report Offensive Comment

Sorry I meant he was OUT 7 GAMES, not 9!!

Report Offensive Comment

You can ESPN also, they have him PLAYING 9 games, OUT 7 games.

Andre Johnson played the first 2 games of the regular season last year, then missed the next 7 from injury, then came back to play the next 7. That's as simple as I can explain it.
