best 2+ back system ever

1972 dolphins
Larry Csonka
Jim Kiik
Mercury Morris
all 1000 yard rushers

Wait what? First off Kiik never rushed for over 750 yards in a season, let alone 1000.

That being said, I select the 1978 New England Patriots.

The '72 Phins rushed for 2960 Yards and 26 TDs that season. The Patriots on the other hand set an NFL record that still stands with 3165 rushing yards and 30 TDs.

Since you said "2+" that can mean anything so yes, the running attack of the '79 Pats

okay my mistake
csonka and morris were over 1000
anyways can you say 17-0 greatest team ever(possibly)

What does 17-0 have to do with their rushing attack? Sure, it helped, but it's not the only reason they went undefeated.

The '78 Pats on the other hand finished 11-5 BECAUSE of their running attack. The quarterbacks combined for a passing attack that produced 15 TDs compared to 25 INTs. In fact, Steve Grogan was their highest rated passed at 63.6.

The Pats were led by Sam Cunningham (FB - 768 Yards, 8 TDs), Andy Johnson (RB - 675 yards, 3 TDs), Horace Ivory (RB - 693 Yards, 11 TDs), and Gorgan himself with 539 Yards and 5 TDs.

um that only adds up to 2675 yards and 27 touchdowns
who got 285 yards and 3 touchdowns

That's not the entire players, I just mentioned the MAIN contributors. RB Don Calhoun also had 391 Yards and 1 TD, while RB James McAlister added 77 yards and 2 TDs.

. . .I really have nothing to argue though. . .you didn't give me anything to argue

I meant '78 Pats in that last sentence >_<

Good choices, hope arguments play out fierce & competitive...

What about Michael Vick, Warrick Dunn, and TJ Duckett? Since Michael is a quarterBACK, I think he qualifies. Or the chiefs of 90? Something like that. I'll get back to you for that one.

Christian "The Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye and Barry Word. That's the Chiefs I were talking about.

78 Pats: 3165 Rushing Yards (NFL RECORD - still stands), 30 TDs

90 Chiefs: 1948 Yards, 11 TDs
91 Chiefs: 2217 Yards, 14 TDs

06 Falcons: 2939 Yards, 9 TDs
05 Falcons: 2546 Yards, 17 TDs
04 Falcons: 2672 Yards, 20 TDs
03 Falcons: 1949 Yards, 17 TDs
02 Falcons: 2368 Yards, 23 TDs
