I don't want to get too nit picky, so I will leave the teams the same and argue the results.
1. Boston beats 8. Atlanta
2. Detroit beats 7. Toronto
3. Orlando beats 6. Philly
4. Cleveland beats 5. Washington
1. Boston beats 4. Cleveland
2. Pistons beat 3. Orlando
1. Boston beats 2. Detroit
I know I don't have any upsets, but it was hard to pick one out. I don't think Philly can beat Orlando because they have no one to match-up with Dwight Howard. Let Howard run freely, and he will make you pay. PLus, Philly is about a .500 team. THey have been inconsistent this year and when they cool down they should return to their non-playoff style of play.
In case you haven't noticed, the East is run by 2 teams. The Celtics are an amazing 57-15 and the Pistons are 51-21. I think that LeBron is good enough to beat the Celtics once, but over the stretch of a SERIES, one man can not beat 3 of the best players at their positions in Pierce Garnett and Allen. The Cavs are still a one man show with a little more help, but the Celtics are a TEAM and they have 3 of the premier NBA players at their positions and a young deveoping PG who is coming up huge.

Lebron has guys on his side now. he single handedly took on the Pistons last year, but couldn't get it done against the Spurs. now, with ben wallace and willie scerybiack or however u spell it will improve him greatly. his supporting cast can beat Boston that will go downhill after the playoffs begin. KG has sucked in the only playoff app. he has been in and it will show. The Sixers, tho, have beaten the Suns, Spurs, Mavs, Celtics, Pistons, and Magic in the last month and a half, u dont think they can win a 5 game series against Orlando?

LeBron was dominating last year. The Cavs were a force in the East. It was just different back then. The Celtics were not competeing at the level they are now and the Pistons are doing great. LeBron has a decent team around him. It just isn't enough to take down an entire TEAM of players over the course of a SERIES. One man can't do it. He will have to completely take over and even if he manages to beat the Celtics, the Pistons just made a fool of him yesterday. 13 points 5 TO's? thats terrible. They are a team that can shut him down defensively. He has some decent players, but he needs a lot more if he wants to compete with the Pistons and the Celtics.
I don't think the sixers can beat the Magic because they are bound to cool off soon. Besides their streak of inpressive play, before that they were a below .500 team. They have just been hot lately. It doesn't mean a whole lot.
The Cavs aren't built to make another deep run at the playoffs because the competetion is much better this year than last year.
