david carr is faster than timmy and more athletic also i could actually imagine david hitting threes
jamarcus is taller 6'6' than palmer 6'5' and is also alot faster and athetic and can jump higher and would be able to make shots in the paint with big guys around him

Couch in high school was considered one of the best all around athletes ever. ESPN ranked him as the sixth best high-school athlete ever. As a junior he averaged 36 ppg. I would bet some of those would have been threes and if not he can definetely get the ball in the basket.
Once again Palmer is actually a basketball player. He only gives up one inch but he can ball. In high school he was named to the Student Sports Grid-Hoops All-America second team. I have no idea what that team is but I am sure it means he can play.

okay you got me on tim couch he is defianatley better than DC
but i would be willing to bet that jamarcus russel would be a better power forward than carson palmer, palmer may be a better player but not at power forward

Jamarcus Russel would be good for the spot I suppose however Palmer does have good size as well.
6 foot 5 inches and 230 is not bad for a power forward. Consider that The Round Mound was about the same height and only about 20 pounds heavier. That 20 pounds would make a big difference. However I would much rather put a guy out there with ok size that knows how to play.
You will always be better off putting a skilled player on the floor and having him play than a guy who has no skill.
