First state your stupidest move, and save other 2 boxes for arguements.

I will go with the Oakland Raiders signing Javon Walker.

Right team, wrong guy, I think. I'm going with DeAngelo Hall.

Javon Walker was a worse move by far. DeAngelo Hall is one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. Javon will be getting paid 5.5 million dollars a year, and 16 million in guaranteed money if he gets cut or something like that. That means Javon makes more money than Randy Moss!!!!! It's amazing, a guy who has had one productive year, is injury prone, somehow makes more money than the best wide reciever in the whole league. WOW.

My bet, though, is that Javon doesn't get cut cause the Raiders are too desperate. Anyway, a point I want to make is, yea the Javon signing was stupid, but that was pretty much their only stupid signing at that point. They sign DeAngelo, knowing that they had another whiner to pay big, BIG bucks to. If you ask me, 10 mil a year for a CB who we see almost every game get burned is way too much. One thing that they have in common; yea, Javon is injury prone. But so id DeAngelo Hall. He occasionally a loud mouth, which some day may cost him the Raiders money that he's getting payed, or maybe one day, a suspension. He usually gets this during the heat of competition and when he gets frustration. And trust me, when your on a losing team, there is a lot of frustration. But my big point is that, when Da Raidahs signed Hall, they already had one big overpayed baby to handle. They could've kept it that way and draft someone in the draft, but no, they had to go packing and get more diapers.

Key factor is... Deangelo is one of the best, therefore less stupid. Javon is not even close to being one of the best.

Come on now. I respect you for being a Broncos' fan, but you can't give that bad of an argument. I also think we forgot that Javon is more mentally tough than DeAngelo. Javon didn't want to stay in Denver even before he played for the Broncos, but he stayed. When the tragedy to Darrent Williams happened, do you think he felt safe? Be honest, would you wanted to have left. I would have. But he still stayed. Javon, even though he was only a Bronco for two years, went through a lot more than people got through in have a lifetime. He has more of a winning mentality. DeAngelo is just focussed on himself. Now I know Javon said that he'd want to leave if he wasn't the number one receiver, but he was still willing to stay had the Broncos offered him a deal. When things don't go DeAngelo's way, he runs his mouth off.

Lynch, that one will be hard to top. I mean Oakland made Walker the highest paid WR in the NFL, maybe go with the no named DT they made the highest paid DT in the NFL even though he missed 8 games last year.

DeAngelo Hall is overrated though. He can get burned by WR's way too much for what he's making.

April 2, 2008  02:27 PM ET

Javon would be my next pick though.

Mike Shanahan not calling it quits...

(I expect to hear something from either BS, or LYNCH...)

Matt Millen NOT stepping down is the #1 though.

I would say anything the Raiders have done to this point could be an easy "how NOT to run a football team" move.

The problem with Hall is that he is talented and not injury prone. Just gets burnt from time to time.

funny DetFan. And there is one big point I have (well, at least I think so), but I won't share it right now.

April 2, 2008  02:30 PM ET

Yes, Hall is talented, and one of the better CB's last year, but him getting burnt at times makes you wonder.

I'm not even going to say it, because I will not sink to your level...

But I mean, at least they do well in the bowls. It's gotta be embarrassing losing to OSU 4 years in a row.

The 49ers making Justin Smith one of the highest paid DE's in the NFL is up there too.

Not only does he not fit their system (they play a 3-4), he's not even that great in a 4-3.

April 2, 2008  02:35 PM ET

DeAngelo, aka MeAngelo, Hall is better than Javon Walker. The contract is outrageous, because I'm sure he's gonna be way more unhappy in Oakland. They suck. And they will suck for a long time. Probably the duration of his contract.

I think DeAngelo is still one of the top corners in the league, and definitely better than Asante, but we'll see how it pans out in the Bay Area. Not even Randy Moss could put up stats there.

Second that. He's got to be the worst NFL GM ever.
