I pick the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots
The reason i picked Minnesota is because of there awesome defense with Darren Sharper and there Sweet running Game with "AP" Adrian Peterson. You will see a completly different Minnesota this year they will have a more experienced team behind there quarterback Tavaris Jackson and there defense is always powerful. You will see team and NFL records broke this year by Adrian Peterson i will quarentee you that even though the season hasnt even started yet.
The reason i picked New England is because of Tom Brady andRandy Moss yea they lost Asante Samuel and Donte Stallworth but they will make those up in the draft there are some actually good corners that can come out of the second round. Another reason i think New England is because they can beat Indinapolis on any occasion anymore.
Minnesota + New England= My choice in superbowl this year

I would like to first say I was challenged to this TD by hoover. Superbowl predictions already? Okay I'll bite. Since this is a prediction TD, I am assuming we are going off the current roster & that ALL players are healthy. My choices...
Patriots vs ...
wait for it...
Nawlin Saints. SURPRISE!
One of the big reasons, in my opinion at least, the Saints struggled last year was because of their run game. After Mcallister suffered a season ending injury, their run game was left in limbo. 8 of the 9 Saints loses last year, they fail to rush over 100 yards. In all of their victories they accumulated 100 yards or more. Coincidence? With Deuce back & healthy(again this is a prediction TD so we're assuming he will be), this will put pressure off Brees & Bush. The Saints offense will be clicking on all cylinders.
Another reason why the Saints struggled the past 2 year is because of their defense. With additions of Former PBer & Def Rookie of the Year ILB Jonathan Vilma, CB Randal Gay, ILB Dan Morgan, & DE Bobby McCray the Saints look to be moving in the right direction.
I dont know what your "quarentee" means, but ill guarantee this years Saints wont be like last years

Okay so you challenge me to this td and you dont even attempt or bother to finish it or dispute it? I gotta say i'm haivng a better time arguing against the readers and voters then with you hoover.
Readers, lets not forget this is a prediction td. You all may not agree with my pick but at least I am giving a pretty valid reason why my team failed last year and why I feel they have a better chance this this coming year. Only thing hoover tells us is Peterson will break records next year. I guess vote how you see fit
hoover said 04/05, 09:22 PM
Sorry about the Delay ok. Back to the toppic if Peterson gets injured you still have Chester Taylor and you still cant cound out them getting a quarterback in the draft there will be Henne and Brohm in that to remember. Peterson is and elusive back he scares defenses look what he did to Chicago over 300 yds. Look at what there offensive line does leaves nice big open holes for those backs. Look at the Saints 92 yds for Mcallister and then you got Bush the "supposed to be great back" Kim Kardashian can keep him. She needs to because hes not going to be that good ever.
Who had the most yards last year Tomlinson? If Adrian Peterson wouldnt have got injured he would of broke all kinds of records i know Robert Menn agrees with me. But like you said it predictions and the Saints still dont have much of a running game. Who says they wont trade Mcallister? I know the Vikings wont get rid of Peterson or Taylor. Tavaris Jackson didnt actually do that bad this year compared to Carr, Schuab, Harrington, and Campbell.

I don't think Minnesota has the team to do it just yet. The passing game on both sides of the ball is too big of a liability that not even the dominant running offense and defense can hide. Tavaris Jackson has to come a long way for them to be a contender, and the passing defense has been worst in the league the past two seasons. I don't see either of those improving enough for them to be the best in the NFC.

Norcal you are the biggest homer on this site. You stubbornly pick the Seahawks every single year. Here is my prediction: Chargers over Cowboys

However, that would be something to watch Peyton crush little brother in front of millions. But the odds of that happening right now would be astounding.

guys guys guys EVERYONE has their own opinions and homer picks on who they think will make it to the Superbowl. Unlike 662, who is bitter at me for some reason and voted against me, I would like to hope that the arguments should win votes.

Lol! True. Waiting for arguments, but the Vikings? Mmmm, don't know about that one. At least the Saints are one year removed from a stellar year.
