Man oh man. You would really take Carson Palmer over Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben had a very solid year last season, throwing 32 TD's to just 11 INT's while posting a 104.1 QB rating. Very impressive numbers. Palmer had a mediocre year, throwing 26 touchdowns and a whopping 20 interceptions, while posting a pedestrian 86.7 QB rating.

Theres also a reason as to why I left Chad cancer Johnson off of my team. He's just a big crybaby that brings dysfunction to the Bengals locker room. Truth is, Johnson wasn't even the best receiver on his own team. Johnson had 93 receptions and 8 touchdowns, very respectable numbers. However Houshmandzadeh tied for the league lead in catches with 112, while also catching 12 touchdowns.

On to the D, where we both chose Ravens at DE. Only you chose a 32 year old in Trevor Pryce who is on the decline who played in only 5 games last season. I chose Haloti Ngata, who has been in the league for only two years, and had a nice season in 07 posting 63 tackles and 3 sacks. The first round pick will continue to get better throughout his career.

I have run out of room, more arguments to come in round 3

Your nickname for Chad Johnson is "cancer". Not only is that an outrageously terrible thing to say, it's completely false. Chad Johnson is the driving force behind the Bengals troubles? If wearing an ocho-cinco sticker on his jersey and a faux hall of fame coat is cancerous, then I'm not quite sure what was so bad about those zombies in I Am Legend. Seems to me they'd make a pretty decent secondary...

Anywho, I tend to steer towards the multiple arrests and thug mentality to the downfall of the incredibly talented Bengals. Chris Henry breaking a beer bottle across an 18 year olds face? Being described as a "one-man-crime-wave?" Half the team is on probation and your calling out Chad Johnson and Carson Palmer? THAT is part of the problem.

As for McGinest's age, isn't that number in the 30's coveted more now than ever before? What's this obsession with youth? The successful teams in the NFL have now realized that EXPERIENCE on the defensive side of the ball wins, not "youth" and the "athleticism" that comes with it. True, seeing a 22 year old linebacker compared to a 33 year old may be more attractive, but were not playing Madden here.

More to come...

Are you serious? You think Chad Johnsons stunts are helpful to the Bengals? First off, you must not follow sports very deeply if youve never heard of the term locker room cancer. Several players in sports history have been called such a thing, players like John Rocker, Barry Bonds, Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, Randy Moss, T O, etc. I never once said Palmer had anything to do with the Bengals problems, I was just making my arguments as of why Ben Roethlisberger is the better QB.

Anyways, lets step away from the set of Oprah and start talking about sports again

At linebacking spot, Harrison and McGinest aren't even close. You say experience is important, but McGinest is 36 years old. Thats called being past your prime. McGinest racked up a total of 30 tackles last season. 30! He sacked the QB 3 times as well. Harrison was the driving force behind the Steel crews linebackers. He had a great season in 07 with 98 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He more than tripled McGinests numbers in tackles and almost tripled him in sacks, not to mention he is 7 years younger.

I'm running out of room so I have to cut to the with my last argument

Cribbs 2 TD 1809 yd 30.7 avg

Figurs 1 TD 1138 yd 24.7 avg

Right, I don't follow sports closely. I feel that criminals are worse for a team than pro-bowl wideouts. I like players who catch touchdowns over those that catch prison sentences. How are you lumping Steven Jackson and Ron Artest into the same group as Chad Johnson? Did Chad ever jump into the stands of a visiting stadium and beat the hell out of paying customers? And you say I dont pay attention to sports...

Tackles are a stat that is recorded by each teams defensive coordinator. It is hardly accurate in any sense of the word. To say a player is less effective because his defensive coordinator recorded less individual tackles is absurd. Who doesnt pay attention to sports?

Is this career-wise or currently? It wasn't specified, but for guys like Ridu Johnson it makes a difference. It would also affect aging veterans like McGinest.

Aaron Smith? C'mon. Did anyone not see the Steelers defense after he was out? 1-4 plus they couldnt stop the run.

Giants, your defense is a 3-4, but you have Hampton listed as a DT. It should be NT.

I'll wait for arguments.

Ngata was drafted as a DT, but he is now a DE
