If Pacman Jones is traded to Dallas, he will be able to stay out of serious legal trouble. (for at least 2-3 years)

lots of people are going to sat no to this because Dllas has so many strip clubs, but i disagree here is my big reason why.

Pacman Jones needs money. And lots of it. Jones needs tons of money to pay off all the legal investigations he has just gone through. Until he is making major cash again, i think he will stay out of strip clubs. If I were dallas I would take him now but would not give him a big contract down the road. Big money means big trouble in Pacmans case.

Pacman Jones was the 6th overall pick of the 2005 draft. I'm sure he is doing alright financially. His rookie contract was for 5 years 30 million dollars plus however his signing bonus and whatnot was. Right now, I think money is not on Pacmans list of things to worry about.

Besides, whats to stop Pacman from getting in trouble??? You say that big money needs big troube, well he has big money right now. The trouble is not going to stop. Signing with a new team doesn't mean anything. Once your a gangsta piece of shiitee like Pacman you always will be, you just can't expect him to change. He will always be hanging out with his possy, and we know there not going to change. As long as he is connected with those people, which he will, he will be in legal trouble.

Even if Pacman can pay for all his legal bills, he still lost a ton of money in the process. He will be on his best behavior until he gets another big contract and the big signing bonus. Once that happens, watchout. But right now Pacman is at least 2 years away from someone giving him a big deal.

As far as his possy, they all are in the Tennesee area. Unless if Pacman pays for them to come live in Texas (like Vick did with his gang) he will never see any of those people again. He will not meet anybody bad in Big D as long as he stays out of the strip clubs.

Look at Tank Johnson, he couldnt stay out of trouble in Chicago and now he is fine in Dallas. A big reason for that is he stopped hanging out with bad people in bad places, and once Tank did that he has been great.

Pacman also knows that this is his last chance with Goodell. While Pacman may be set for life, do you think he wants to leave the NFL without another big contract? No. Jones is selfish enough to stay out of trouble for the sole reason that he will not get a huge payday again if he keeps his act up. All professional athletes are like Pacman, they want as much money as they can get.

Like you said big money means big trouble, he still has some big money...

Do you honestly think he isn't going to stay in touch with his people???? There is no way that is going to happen. He has plenty of time inthe offseason to make trips to Tennesse and I'm sure he'll meet some new people in Dallas. You cannot change someones personality. Pacman is who Pacman is and you can't change that. While Tank Johnson may be staying out of trouble, I don't remember him being as bad as Pacman. Look at how much trouble Pacman has gotten into in such a short amount of time. He got a year suspension out of it. This guy is crazy and new scenery won't change that.

Do you honestly think Pacman has held on to all that money? Heck no. Im sure most of it has been wasted on various things that he didnt need. This man is not smart enough to invest his money, he is way to greedy. Add that to the fact that the Titans want some of his signing bonus back, he is in more trouble than you all think. This is Pacman Jones were talking about!! He doesnt hold on to his money!!

If Pacman Jones wants to stay out of trouble, a new scenery will help greatly. He doesnt have to go back to Tennesee and visit, he doesnt have to go to strip clubs in Dallas. It will come dwon to Pacman wanting more money and staying out of trouble for the next couple years until he gets another big contract.

Once he gets that big contract and bonus, then he will be back in the strip clubs. But not until then. He is too greedy.

The clubs will always be there for him, big time NFL contracts wont be. He will realize that and behave until he gets another huge contract.

There is simply no city that will cure Pacman. He is who he is; a gangsta who'd rather spend his time shooting up strip clubs. As much money as he has wasted, and as much money as he'll need to get back, there is no way he has spent his entire contract in this time. Do you really think he spends that much?

And I still can't believe you don't think he'll stay in touch with his people. No matter who you are, or where your from, if you all of a sudden pack up and leave, you stay in touch with your buddies back home. And then he'll just find even more friends at all the strip clubs he WILL be going to. That is what professional athletes like Pacman do. They go to strip clubs, meet bad people and many times get in trouble. Pacman seeks this kind of trouble and I don't see him behaving, no matter how little his new NFL salary will be.

No top 10 pick in the NFL is in financial trouble.

April 11, 2008  08:15 PM ET

agreed...it doesnt cost him money for an investigation to be done...thats paid through tax payers dollars, which in return pays salaries of police officer and detectives...

Unless if Pacman pays for them to come live in Texas (like Vick did with his gang) he will never see any of those people again. He will not meet anybody bad in Big D as long as he stays out of the strip clubs.

hahaha yes, he will NEVER talk to his buddies again...

are you kidding me?

Him and Tank Johnson will find something constructive to do...like shoot up a strip club and beat people up

Dallas keeping people out od trouble? Isn't this the team that had a house where the players could do crack and use Escort Services.

If Dallas gets Pacman, then they can get Chris Henry and a few more players, they will be able to field a team of felons.

Wow. Dallas must be a nice city if there's no bad people outside of strip clubs.
