Make an MLB team of prospects who will be starting the season at or above AA. Include a 5-man rotation. All players currently in the majors must be considered "rookies" and be starting their first full season. This is based a lot on upside, but you can also use past stats in arguments.

2B: Matt Antonelli-Padres
3B: Evan Longoria-Rays

First of all Justin Upton, Clay Buchholz, and Johhny Cueto all started in with the big league clubs this year so those should be discounted.

You obviously cannot read...
In my rules at the beginning of the throwdown, right at the top of the page, I state:
All players currently in the majors must be considered "rookies" and be starting their first full season.
Was Cueto in the majors last season? No.
How about Upton? He only played in 43 games last season and debuted in August. He is starting his first FULL season.
And Buchholz was called up August, and made only 3 starts last season. I FOLLOWED THE RULES.
First, Wood was switched over to third base. And I would definitely take Brignac over him.
Wood was inconsistent last year, although he's still a good prospect. But Brignac has hit for a better average over his minors career than Wood, and he's also the better fielder. Brignac has more upside too.
Votto vs. Marrero is a good one as I had a feeling youd pick him. But Votto has hit more homers, a better BA, and more RBIs then Marrero. And Votto's already in the majors.
Maybin vs. Rasmus is good too. But the most homers Maybin hit in a season in the minors was 14. Colby's high was 29. And his fielding is improving too.
I'll argue Headley and the pitchers in my next argument.

First of all you instructions are unclear. So why are you allowed to use a rookie, that just defeats the purpose of coming up with a prospect list in the first place.
We can start with why wood is better than Brignac.
Wood
Career in minors - avg .272 ;OBP .338 ;SLG .497 ;OPS .835
Brignac avg .260 ;OBP .328 ;SLG .433 ;OPS .760
The stats speak for themselves - need I say more; or by the way wood has more home runs too in about 20 less at bats
Colby Rasmus might have hit a few more homeruns, but for a center fielder type, Maybin hits for a better avg, teh power numbers are pretty good, and he will also steal bases. Not to mention he has great wheels to cover a lot of ground.
I think the Votto vs Marerro is pretty even, however Votto is in the bigs.

Well, Wood has been inconsistent during his career and isn't a great fielder. For those reasons, I would take Brignac. And Brignac's sure to improve, he's younger then Wood.
I'd also take Rasmus over Maybin because he is more experienced. Rasmus's contact hitting will surely improve.
Headley cannot beat Upton IMO. Well, firstly Upton is out of the minors and is the D-Backs starting rightfielder, so that's saying something there. And Upton nearly matched Headley's homer total in 2 less minor league seasons.
You've gotta have Clay Buchholz up there. He's already thrown a no-hitter, and has one of the best young arms in the AL. He should definitely be up there ahead of Miller. But he too has been inconsistent throughout his young career, and that doesnt translate well to the bigs.
David Price has just dominated and is a future ace for the Rays. Nick Adenhart is alright, but last season he gave up 158 hits in 153 innings. Not a good sign.
Johnny Cueto is very young and has an insane amount of upside. He made the Reds' squad instead of Bailey. He is a future strikeout champ. Morales had a career 4.11 ERA in the minors and has some control issues.
My team is superior.

I really don't think I have to much of a shot a winning anymore since I did not get the instructions from the beginning, I would have had, Upton, Cueto and Buchholz all in my lineup.

the rules are a little too wordy, perhaps "all rookie and below team" would be easier. either way, bucholz, upton and cueto are all rooks. vote left.
