Marc Bulger is a great passer but he never gets respect. He puts up 20 touch downs and does not throw to many picks. He plays great every week

I fail to see how Marc Bulger can be the most underrated quarterback in the National Football League. I continually see him listed in the top five of quarterback lists when assembled by fans. He gets plenty of press for leading and guiding the offense of the Rams. Every year I see him drafted among the first set of quarterbacks. Honestly, even if he is a bit underrated he is not the most underrated.

How about a player like J.P. Losman who had a surprisingly effective an efficient season last year with the Bills, but is still considered by many among the bottom few QBs in the league? Even behind his suspect line in Houston, David Carr still posted quality numbers last year. He completed a ridiculous 302 out of 442 attempts and he is stuck as a back up this year. Also Chad Pennington who continues to have effective and efficient seasons, but get dumped into the 20s when it comes to ranking QBs. These guys are underrated, Bulger is rated just about right.

Do you ever see bulger talk about as a star in the league no.those guys are under rated but not like bulger. You always hear brees, palmer, brady and peyton no bulger

You always here Bulger brought up among them. I continually hear his name after Manning, Brady, Palmer, and Brees and quite honestly that is where he deserves to be. There are plenty of people to stick him up in front of Palmer too. He is around the fifth best in the league and is credited for that.

bulger has great numbers week in and week out.No one even cares his contract ends this year if brady or peyton contract is going to end every one will be jumping to the story.marc has made top 4 qb numbers and deserve more respect

Well Brady and Manning are both better than Bulger, or do you plan to make a case for Bulger being better? Also both of their teams play deep into the playoffs unlike Bulger's recent experience with the Rams. He gets plenty of credit with the big boys. Also maybe there is a reason he has reached his contract year? He is not on the same level as Manning and Brady nor does he deserve to be. A case can be made among the QBs 3-7 for any of them and Bulger is in that discussion. He just simply is not underrated. Meanwhile players like Pennington, Carr, and Losman have solid seasons yet are considered among the bottom of the league. David Carr has especially been given a bad rap. He deserves to be a starter somewhere in the NFL.

Bulger at least gets noticed. Losman gets shoved in behind crap like NASCAR.

david carr is the most underrated.... he was never given a half a shot to play with any talent around him... mark my words, he will supplant Delhomme as the starter by week 8, and we will see how good carr can be with a half decent team,,,,

Chad Pennington is the most underrated QB in the league. When healthy(and I understand he's been hurt alot), he is one of the best in the league. The main argument is that he has a weak arm, but he still runs a quality offense.

TOM BRADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Bulger may be a little OVERRATED. Looked at what that guy has been blessed with, an OT that may go down as the best ever, Unbelievably good receivers, a wide open offensive system, and Stephen Jackson, who might break the total yards from scrimmage record this year. He plays in a dome, which always helps with passer rating, and he was pretty well groomed to become a starting QB under Warner.

His best assets are his poise and accuracy, but he is not an overwhelming talent-----avg. size, arm strength, etc.

Don't know who do vote for here, but I really wish you guys would stop talking about Losman like he's good or something.

He is not "good" per se, but he is not among the bottom few starters in the league.
